New Spaces

An area ofnearly 3 square kilometers in the northern part of the Shougang Parkis being fully utilized to bring together vibrant communities from the city, the park, and the waterfront, enabling interaction and mutual enrichment.The core exhibition area of this year's CIFTIS exceeds 100,000 square meters.

TheNo. 4 Blast Furnace, serving as CIFTIS' gateway hub for international meetings, has completedpremium-grade renovation spanning nearly 10,000 square meters. This high-standard summit venue is now capable of hosting conferences for over 1,000 participants, thematic forums, and live broadcasting operations. It offers rich echoes of industrial heritage and stands in harmony with natural surroundings, demonstrating its environmental friendliness and cultural identity, as well as the grandeur of China.

TheNo. 2 Sintering Fan Workshop has been repurposed into the CIFTIS Press Center, retaining its main steel framework and indoor overhead cranes. With a total floor area of over 4,400 square meters, the press center achieves functional integration of media facilities with preserved industrial heritage and natural landscape elements, providing comprehensive support for press activities. It exemplifies a new approach to the adaptive reuse of industrial heritage.

Thetotal conference spacewithin the parkreaches 18,100 square meters.Open green belts and public spacesare designed to encourage communication among attendees and their interaction with the environment, significantly enhancing the participant experience.

Enhanced Services

TheShougang Park intelligent operation center (IOC) systemintegrates data on pedestrian flow, vehicle flow, and traffic within the exhibition areas for centralized dispatch. The WeChat mini program AI Shang Shougang Park consolidates service information including venues, Parking, catering, shops, hotels, buses/subways, restrooms, and entrances/exits, enabling "one-stop queries and full-process guidance" throughout the CIFTIS area.

Roboticscompanies based in the Shougang Park will provide a range of services tailored to the CIFTIS environment, includingreception, guided tours, explanations, material delivery, and self-service dining options.

The park offers70 dining locationsproviding over 12,000 seats, featuring flexible service styles and a diverse selection of cuisines to cater to all preferences.

Parking facilities have been optimized through the coordinated management of all available resources, providingover 10,000 parking spaces. In addition, intelligent vehicle recognition systems and guidance screens have been installed at key intersections to enable smart guidance.

During the fair,shuttle buseswill run betweenGucheng Subway StationandP2 Parking Lot, and double-decker sightseeing buses will operate within the park, satisfying the needs for faster traffic transfer and park tours.

The Shougang Park'snightscapepattern, "Two Axes, Two Zones, Two Lakes, and Multiple Centers," has been upgraded by setting up viewing platforms that overlook natural landscapes, historic sites, and modern landmarks, creating a unique night atmosphere for the CIFTIS. The CIFTIS logo atop the nearly 100-meter-high No. 4 Blast Furnace will light up the night sky, becoming a new visual landmark in western Beijing.

Greater Vitality

Nearly 20 supporting eventswill be held in the Shougang Park during the CIFTIS.

For example, theChina International Candy SeasonSeries will create a sweet art space, bringing together artists, tech professionals, and fashion insiders for interaction while promoting exchanges between brands and avant-garde art. A mix of exhibitions, interactive experiences, and consumer activities, the space is expected to become a new social media hotspot.

TheWanku Heartbeat Towerat Big Air Shougang innovatively leverages its unique spatial resources to create new "sports plus" consumption scenarios, including seven extreme sports and adventure items: "Heartbeat Coffee," abseiling, children's bungee jumping, rock climbing,jumping platform matrix,slope net climbing, and high-speed slides.

The newly-composedmodern Beijing operaThe Centennial History of Shougang, along with other classic performances, will be promoted and staged as key nighttime events during the CIFTIS.
