Recently, at the construction site of the 35kV outgoing project of Hangzhou Zhongshan Agricultural-PV Complementary Power Generation Project, the traction machine roared, and the conductors and ground wires slowly rose into the air. State Grid Hangzhou Power Supply Company is scientifically organizing and making every effort to advance the erection of conductors and ground wires for overhead lines in mountainous areas, laying a solid foundation for the project to be put into operation on schedule and realize the grid connection of green electricity.
It is reported that the newly-built line of the supporting outgoing project of Zhongshan Agricultural-PV Complementary Power Generation Project has a total length of 5.4 kilometers, involving 12 crossing points such as 10kV power lines and rural roads. Finally, it will be connected to the 35kV Zhongshan Substation, which will significantly improve the regional clean energy supply capacity, effectively promote green energy consumption in rural areas, and inject new impetus into regional energy transformation and rural revitalization.
As the project passes through hilly and mountainous areas with complex terrain, large height differences and dense vegetation, the construction difficulty is relatively high. State Grid Hangzhou Power Supply Company has adopted a mechanized and intelligent construction mode, actively applied new technologies and equipment, and comprehensively reduced operation risks and improved project quality and efficiency. “During the erection of conductors and ground wires, we use drones to deploy the primary pilot ropes, and then carry out the subsequent deployment of conductors and ground wires with the help of equipment such as intelligent traction machines and tension machines. This can effectively overcome topographic obstacles and improve construction accuracy and safety,” said a staff member of State Grid Hangzhou Power Supply Company. “At the same time, digital means such as sag observation instruments and online monitoring equipment are widely used in the operation process to realize real-time monitoring of key parameters such as the sag, tension and ground distance of conductors and ground wires as well as construction quality, effectively ensuring that the construction technology meets the design specifications.”
At present, the project is in the phase of overhead line conductor and ground wire erection. In the follow-up, work such as the installation of accessories including fittings and insulators, defect elimination and acceptance, and system commissioning will be completed one after another to make every effort to ensure that the photovoltaic power station is connected to the grid for power generation on schedule.
In the next phase, State Grid Hangzhou Power Supply Company will further deepen the “Six Precisions and Four Modernizations” construction management concept, and contribute to the construction of a new power system, the promotion of high-quality local development and the realization of the dual carbon goals.
