Agnieszka Freda is Executive Publisher in Elsevier’s Health and Medical Sciences journal publishing team and lead of Psychiatry program. Agnieszka has been at Elsevier for over 12 years and is currently managing a large portfolio of psychiatry and mental health journals and collaborating with over 60 external editors spanning multiple countries and research specialties. She has been involved in building of an action plan to increase editorial diversity and is the external Elsevier liaison for improvement of sex and gender reporting in science.

Paolo Brambilla

Paolo Brambilla is a Medical Doctor, Child and Adult Psychiatrist, Psychotherapist, and Ph.D. in Neuropharmacology and Neurophysiology.

He currently is Full Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Milan, Italy, where is also is Program Director of the Bachelor Degree in Professional Educator and Director of the School of Residency in Psychiatry.

Moreover, Dr. Brambilla is Adjunct Full Professor of Psychiatry at UTHouston, USA, Director of the Department of Neurosciences and Mental Health at the University Hospital IRCCS Ca' Granda of Milan, Italy, Councillor of the ECNP executive committee, and President of the Italian Society of Psychedelic Psychiatry (SIPSSoP).

Finally, he is Co-Editor in Chief of Journal of Affective Disorders (JAD) and JAD Reports, Editor-in-Chief of Minerva Psychiatry and Associate Editor of Psychiatry Research: Neuroimaging

Philip D. Harvey

Philip D. Harvey, PhD is Leonard M. Miller Professor of Psychiatry, vice chair for research, and director of the Division of Psychology at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. He is also a senior health Research Scientist at the Bruce W. Carter VA Medical Center. He is the author of over 1,100 scientific papers and abstracts and he has written over 70 book chapters. His research has focused on cognition and everyday functioning, in healthy aging, schizophrenia, and other serious mental illnesses. He also been studying the effects of cognitive enhancing agents and cognitive and functional skills training in various conditions. His most recent work has focused on technology-based remotely delivered training interventions and momentary assessments, with a focus on everyday activities in aging, MCI, and in schizophrenia and bipolar disorder.

He is the founding editor in in chief of Schizophrenia Research Cognition, and winner of several national and international awards.

Rajiv Tandon

Asian Journal of Psychiatry

Rajiv Tandon, MD, Professor and Chair Emeritus at the Western Michigan University Homer Stryker College of Medicine, is an internationally reputed psychiatrist, educator, and researcher. Following a psychiatric residency at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor (1984-87), he served there as a faculty member for 17 years (1987-2004) achieving tenure in 1992 and becoming a full professor in 1998. He served as the Chief of Psychiatry for the State of Florida from 2004-2009 and subsequently served as the Chief of the Psychiatry Service at the North Florida/South Georgia Malcolm Randall VA Medical Center and Professor/Vice-Chair at the Department of Psychiatry in the University of Florida from 2009-2019, before serving WMU Homer Stryker College of Medicine as Professor and Chair from 2019-2022.

Dr. Tandon has authored more than 400 scientific publications and given over 1500 national and international scientific presentations. He has received over 20 national and international awards for research and teaching. He has received the Exemplary Psychiatrist Award from the National Alliance for Mental Illness on three occasions (2009, 2012, and 2015). He has been the Editor-in-Chief of the Asian Journal of Psychiatry since 2016, over which time its impact has progressively increased. Additionally, he serves on the editorial board of several other international journals. He has won the Schizophrenia Research highest impact author of the year award on three occasions (2008, 2013, 2024) for authoring the highest impact article (citations and downloads) on schizophrenia that year. He currently leads a project on “Reconceptualizing schizophrenia: Updating the construct”, with the top 50 international schizophrenia experts participating in a 3-phase endeavor. He was a member of the DSM-5 and DSM-5-TR workgroups on schizophrenia and related psychotic disorders (2006-2013 and 2019-2022, respectively) and is currently on the DSM-5-TR Review Committee for serious mental disorders. As the Editor-in-Chief of the Asian Journal of Psychiatry and an Executive Board member of the Asian Federation of Psychiatric Associations, he conducts workshops on successful scientific publication and plays an active role in promoting psychiatric research across Asia and dissemination of mental health scientific and policy information across Asia.

Lan Liu 刘岚

首都医学科学创新中心高级研究员。获得海外高层次人才称号。本科于中国科学技术大学数学系毕业后,2010年赴美国北卡罗来那大学教堂山分校 (University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill) 攻读生物统计专业(该校专业排名全美前三)硕博连读,三年后于2013年获得博士学位。后赴美国哈佛大学生物统计和流行病系从事博士后研究,并在美国明尼苏达大学获得统计学长聘副教授,曾任明尼苏达大学统计咨询中心主任。

在统计应用上,刘岚教授在美国食品药品监管局(FDA)工作实习,参与了对于缺失数据指导方案前期的探索研究。在美期间,刘岚教授与医学专家合作,进行实验设计和数据分析,论文发表在多个不同领域医学杂志。同时,刘岚教授和首都医科大学吉训明院士团队长期合作,深度参与了BAOCHE(NEJM)、OPENS2(Lancet), TREND (JAMA neurology), RICH2等大型研究的实验设计和统计分析。刘岚教授及其团队现和首都医科大学宣武医院、友谊医院、三博脑科、积水潭医院、世纪坛医院、同仁医院、天坛医院、朝阳医院、安贞医院、儿童医院,以及北大人民医院、阜外医院等多个科室都有深度合作。此外,刘岚教授拥有丰富的统计咨询经验,与美敦力公司,美国明尼苏达州财政部、劳工部、刑事犯罪局、纽约房屋管理局均有合作项目。
