On the morning of March 27, 2025, the Boao Forum for Asia (BFA) held a panel discussion on “Maintaining Global Supply Chain Stability: The Role of Connectivity”. Roman SKLYAR, First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, delivered a keynote speech on maintaining the stability of global supply chains and achieving sustainable development in Asia through enhancing connectivity.

Mr. SKLYAR highlighted the critical role of the BFA in advancing regional cooperation and driving global economic recovery. He also emphasized Asia’s significance as a major engine of global economic growth.

Mr. SKLYAR proposed three recommendations for strengthening connectivity across Asia. First, economic and trade cooperation among Asian countries should be strengthened. Second, transportation cooperation within the region should be expanded. Third, a unified digital logistics platform should be established.
