The Marine Environment Protection Committee (MEPC), at its seventy-second session on 13 April 2018, adopted the Code for Approval of Ballast Water Management Systems (BWMS Code) by resolution MEPC.300(72), which entered into force on 13 October 2019. The International Maritime Organization (IMO) requires that ballast water management systems be type-approved by the Administration in accordance with the BWMS Code, and the type approval report shall be submitted to the IMO.
2018年4月13日，海洋环境保护委员会第72次会议以MEPC.300(72)决议通过《压载水管理系统认可规则》（BWMS规则），该规则于2019年10月13日生效。国际海事组织要求，主管机关须根据《压载水管理系统认可规则》对压载水管理系统予以型式认可，并将型式认可信息提交至IMO。
展开剩余76%To facilitate the global expansion of Chinese products and report to the IMO the information on ballast water management systems (BWMS) approved by China, Beijiang Maritime Safety Administration (MSA) has dutifully and proactively assisted Wuxi Brightsky Electronic Co., Ltd. in developing and submitting a proposal to the IMO regarding the type approval of the BSKY™ Ballast Water Management System (BSKY™
BWMS ). After conducting an assessment of documents such as the type approval certificate for the
BWMS submitted by the enterprise and seeking opinions from relevant industry entities, Beijiang MSA concluded that the type approval process of the BSKY™
BWMS fully complies with the requirements of the BWMS Code, and the relevant test data and results fully demonstrate the reliability and compliance of the BSKY™
BWMS.
为助力中国产品走向世界，向国际海事组织报告我国认可的压载水管理系统信息，北疆海事局履行职责，主动作为，协助无锡蓝天电子股份有限公司将其BSKY™压载水管理系统获得型式认可的信息形成提案并提交至国际海事组织。北疆海事局对企业提交的压载水管理系统型式认可证书等文件进行了评估，并征求了相关行业单位意见，认为BSKY™压载水管理系统型式认可过程完全遵循《压载水管理系统认可规则》（BWMS规则）的要求，相关试验数据和结果充分证明了该系统的可靠性和合规性。
On this basis, Beijiang MSA cooperated with the enterprise in drafting the proposal titled Information on the Type Approval of the BSKY™ Ballast Water Management System in accordance with IMO's relevant rules of procedure and documentation requirements. Currently, this proposal has been successfully submitted to MEPC 83,and the information on the type approval of the BSKY™ BWMS will be made accessible to member states and the public. This initiative aims to facilitate the promotion and application of Chinese products in the international shipping market, enhance their international recognition and competitiveness, and support the global expansion of "Made in China" products.
在此基础上，北疆海事局依据IMO的相关议事规则和文件要求，与企业合作撰写《关于BSKY™压载水管理系统型式认可的信息》提案，目前，该提案已成功提交至国际海事组织海上环境保护委员会第83届会议（MEPC83），通过IMO向各成员国及公众公开
BWMS获得型式认可的信息，以促进中国产品在国际航运市场的推广与应用，提升其国际认可度与竞争力,助力中国制造走向全球。
