The germplasm resource bank at the Hunan Botanical Garden covers a total area of 30 hectares and contains over one million wild azalea plants across 230 varieties and the latest national horticultural cultivars. Currently, the azaleas in the garden have entered blossom season, which are expected to last until the end of April.
