公开信息显示，彭勃曾任于洪区迎宾路街道办事处副主任等职，2024年6月任于洪区文化旅游广电局副局长，负责文化产业、旅游工作，负责办公室日常运行管理、文旅局财务和人事工作。

去年11月，彭勃出镜介绍当地大米，引发关注。其流畅的英语表达以及东北话无缝衔接，收获了不少网友点赞。

Peng gained public attention in November last year for a promotional video featuring local rice. Her fluent English delivery, seamlessly intertwined with the northeastern Chinese dialect, earned widespread praise online.

开头是流利又有腔调的英语，紧接着一句水灵灵的“赵shú”，让网友直呼：“从英伦庄园回屯子了！”

当时她表示，“我必须马上从这件事抽离，投入新工作，不能做一次性网红。”彭勃说，自己毕业于英语专业，曾在于洪区外事办工作，到文旅局希望自己可以继续发挥特长，把区志上看到的故事讲给大家。“我觉得文旅不仅是看景，更重要的是了解我们脚下这片土地的历史。”

Responding to her viral fame, Peng said, "I must detach myself from this immediately and focus on my new duties. I cannot be a one-time internet celebrity." Holding a degree in English, she previously worked in Yuhong district's Foreign Affairs Office and joined the Bureau of Culture and Tourism to leverage her strengths. "I aim to share the stories I've discovered in our local chronicles," she explained. "Culture and tourism aren't just about scenery; understanding the history of the land beneath our feet is paramount."
