The 2025 China Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Week opened in Changsha on May 25.

Participants visited the innovation and entrepreneurship exhibitions before the ceremony.

Zhang Yingchun, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and executive vice governor of Hunan Province, introduced Hunan's supporting measures for college student entrepreneurship. Zheng Hairong, president of the Chinese Association of Young Scientists and Technologists (CAST) and academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), delivered a speech. Provincial leaders Wu Guiying and Qin Guowen, along with Liu Zhonghua, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering (CAE), were present at the event.

Co-hosted by CYL, the Ministry of Commerce, National Health Commission, State Taxation Administration, and CPC Hunan Provincial Committee, the event features five main events and a series of supporting activities. It aims to foster aggregation, showcasing, and matchmaking of innovation and entrepreneurship resources in Hunan, including mentors for youth entrepreneurship, projects, talents, markets, financial support, intellectual property protection, project incubation bases, and legal services.
