At the past 21 sessions of the CAEXPO, Malaysia has occupied over 3,500 booths, with nearly 2,500 participating companies. Major exhibited goods and services included national image promotion, food and beverages, health and wellness products, lifestyle products, service industry products, and institutional displays. Important agreements were signed for projects such as the China-Malaysia Qinzhou Industrial Park and power plants.

At the 20th CAEXPO, Malaysia's Minho International Sdn. Bhd. signed an agreement with Qinzhou, Guangxi, to invest and construct the Minho Grain and Oil Processing Base, valued at RMB 1.69 billion, located in Qinzhou, Guangxi.

At the 19th CAEXPO, China Energy Engineering Corporation (CEEC) signed the Malaysia Phase 4 Large-Scale Solar Project, including the 32 MW projects in Terengganu (Panggil), Sandakan (Sabah), and Keningau (Sabah).

At the opening ceremony of the 8th CAEXPO, witnessed by the Chinese Premier and Malaysian Prime Minister, the signing and unveiling ceremony for the China-Malaysia Qinzhou Industrial Park was held. In February 2013, the Malaysia-China Kuantan Industrial Park was opened. The "Two Countries, Twin Parks" model pioneered industrial park cooperation between China and an ASEAN country, becoming a new model for Belt and Road industrial cooperation.

At the 5th CAEXPO, ZTE Corporation signed a contract for the Malaysia Mobile Network Turnkey Project, providing convenience for mobile communications for the Malaysian public.

Since the launch of Pavilion of Cities of Charm at the 2nd CAEXPO in 2005, Malaysian cities and regions such as Putrajaya, Penang, and Klang have been featured in the "Cities of Charm" zone, showcasing their developments and business opportunities in trade, investment, science and technology, culture, tourism, and people-to-people exchanges.
