As the Harvest Festival approaches, on September 22nd, State Grid Taizhou Power Supply Company launched a Harvest Festival-themed event at the first “Electricity Love Supermarket” in Taizhou. The event included activities such as interactive games to attract people, safety promotion in the fields, and public welfare science popularization to convey concepts. These activities brought power services and assistance measures to the people’s hearts, injecting strong power into the harvest season.

At the event site, the Electricity Love Supermarket was bustling with people as the harvest-themed garden party kicked off. At each interactive station, villagers actively participated, learning about the Harvest Festival and electrical safety through fun games. The love points earned from the garden party could be directly exchanged for agricultural tools, rice, and other daily necessities. This “education through entertainment” approach made the concept of safe electricity use deeply rooted in people’s hearts.

“Being able to play games and win prizes while learning practical knowledge, this kind of activity is so practical!”said a villager who had just exchanged for agricultural tools with a smile. It is reported that the Electricity Love Supermarket has been in operation for nearly three years and has distributed over 90,000 love points, becoming an important platform for rural governance and convenient services.

On the same day, the “Electricity Protection Team” in the fields also took action. In response to the peak electricity demand during the autumn harvest, power supply employees went deep into orchards and rice fields to conduct “fishing net-style” inspections of irrigation pumps, drying equipment, and other agricultural machinery and surrounding lines, and on-site rectification of private connections and aging equipment. In the rice fields, employees guided farmers step by step on the proper use of electrical equipment, distributed safety manuals, and explained the precautions for temporary electricity use in the context of autumn harvest, safeguarding the “harvest money bags” with professional services.

In addition, in the exhibition area of the “State Grid Green Ark Program” public welfare project of State Grid Corporation of China, which is a key public welfare brand project focusing on biodiversity conservation and supporting green development and power supply, villagers gathered around the display boards to listen. Staff members explained how the project helps the ecological environment through grid construction and creates a livable environment for rare species in wetlands, using practical cases such as the line relocation in Jianyang Lake Wetland. The on-site screening of ecological protection and safe electricity use promotional videos allowed villagers to directly understand the significance of “electricity empowering the ecology”.
