On September 19th, the Guangdong Provincial Bureau of Statistics released data on the province's economic performance for the first eight months of 2025. The figures show that from January to August, the added value of industrial enterprises above the designated size in the province increased by 2.2% year-on-year. Among them, the robotics and drone industries showed strong momentum, with the output of industrial robots, service robots, and civilian drones up 32.1%, 17.3%, and 54.7%, respectively. The output of wind turbine generator systems, solar cells (photovoltaic cells), and new energy vehicles rose by 43.3%, 81.5%, and 21.9%, respectively. Investment in scientific research and innovation has increased, with expenditures on research and experimental development growing by 15.4%.

From January to July, service industries above the designated size in Guangdong achieved operating revenue of 3.38 trillion yuan, up 7.0% year-on-year. From January to August, freight volume and freight turnover grew by 0.9% and 5.9%, respectively, while railway passenger volume and turnover increased by 5.8% and 3.6%, respectively. Meanwhile, civil aviation passenger volume and turnover rose by 3.8% and 6.9%, respectively.

From January to August, the total retail sales of consumer goods in Guangdong increased by 3.2% year-on-year. Growth in automobile consumption accelerated, with sales of new energy vehicles above the designated size increasing by 4.1%, 0.9 percentage points higher than the growth recorded from January to July.

From January to August, investment in fixed assets declined by 12.4% year-on-year, but livelihood-related sectors and innovation-driven areas saw robust growth. Specifically, investment in railways and air transportation grew by 9.7% and 37.2%, respectively, while investment in research and experimental development rose by 15.4% and investment in internet-related services surged by 63.8%.

9月19日，广东省统计局发布前8月经济运行数据。数据显示，1—8月份，全省规模以上工业增加值同比增长2.2%。其中，机器人、无人机产业发展势头强劲，工业机器人、服务机器人、民用无人机产品产量分别增长32.1%、17.3%、54.7%，风力发电机组、太阳能电池（光伏电池）、新能源汽车产品产量分别增长43.3%、81.5%、21.9%。科研创新领域加大投入，研究和实验发展投资增长15.4%。

1—7月份，全省规模以上服务业实现营业收入3.38万亿元，同比增长7.0%。1—8月份，货运量、货物周转量分别增长0.9%、5.9%，铁路客运量、旅客周转量分别增长5.8%、3.6%，民航客运量、旅客周转量分别增长3.8%、6.9%。

1—8月份，全省社会消费品零售总额同比增长3.2%。汽车类消费增速加快，限额以上新能源汽车增长4.1%，增速比1—7月份提高0.9个百分点。

1—8月固定资产投资同比下降12.4%，但民生与创新领域发力，铁路、航空运输业投资分别增长9.7%、37.2%，研究和实验发展投资增长15.4%，互联网相关服务投资增长63.8%。
