The Sinopec Group Hunan Petroleum Branch has been adhering to technological innovation in recent years. Through independently developing new-generation green technologies, it has established a world-class technologically leading caprolactam production base with the world's largest single set in production capacity in Yueyang Green Chemical Industry High-Tech Zone. With an annual output of 600,000 tonnes, it has successfully doubled its capacity and relocated its industrial chain.

The base is located 3.1 kilometers away from the Yangtze River shoreline, effectively lifting the siege of chemical enterprises to the Yangtze River and the city by means of eco-friendly upgrades. The annual caprolactam production capacity has raised from 300,000 tonnes to 600,000 tonnes. The photo shows the 60-tonne caprolactam industrial chain facilities operating smoothly.
