On September 8, the 25th China International Fair for Investment & Trade (CIFIT) commenced in Xiamen. With 120,000 square meters of exhibition space and over 100 investment promotion activities, it aims to establish itself as a flagship "Invest China" exhibition and crucial two-way investment service platform. Focusing on three core sections—"Invest in China," "China Investment," and "Global Investment"—this year's CIFIT attracts 15,000+ enterprises and institutions from 120+ countries and regions.

As Guest Country of Honor, the United Kingdom Pavilion, themed "Invest in GREAT," occupies 400 square meters in Hall A6 of Xiamen International Conference & Exhibition Center, showcasing energy, professional services, pharmaceuticals/healthcare, cultural innovation, and advanced technology. As Guest Province of Honor, Jiangsu hosts two thematic events—"UK-China (Jiangsu) Bilateral Investment Cooperation Forum" and "International Capital and Jiangsu Province Industrial Project Matchmaking and Exchange Event"—centered on biopharmaceuticals, digital economy, and green energy.

Concurrently, CIFIT hosts the 2025 International Investment Forum, 2025 Gulangyu Forum, and 7 additional forum activities.

9月8日，第二十五届中国国际投资贸易洽谈会在厦门举办。大会展览总面积12万平方米，举办投资促进活动超过百场，努力打造“投资中国”的标志性展会和双向投资促进的重要服务平台。本届投洽会聚焦“投资中国”“中国投资”“国际投资”三大板块，吸引了120多个国家和地区的15000多家企业、机构参会参展。

作为第二十五届投洽会主宾国，英国国家馆位于厦门国际会展中心A6馆，以“英”明投资为主题，面积400平方米。展馆重点展示能源、专业服务、医药健康、文化创意和高新科技五大领域。作为第二十五届投洽会主宾省，江苏围绕生物医药、数字经济、绿色能源三大领域，举办两场主题活动：“中国（江苏）—英国双向投资合作交流会”“国际金融资本与江苏省产业项目对接交流会”。

投洽会同期还举办2025国际投资论坛、2025鼓浪屿论坛，以及其他论坛活动7场。

On the afternoon of September 8, the 25th China International Fair for Investment & Trade (CIFIT) hosted the "Invest in Fujian" centralized signing ceremony for major projects in Xiamen. The Xiamen delegation achieved remarkable results, securing RMB 36.1 billion in funding. It signed 11 major investment projects totaling RMB 36.1 billion, marking four consecutive years of growth, with both total contracted investment value and foreign-funded project value ranking first provincially for four consecutive terms. Among these, six major foreign-funded projects involved RMB 11.6 billion, covering electronics, new energy, aircraft maintenance, and financial services. HAECO will establish high-performance aircraft/engine maintenance facilities in Xiamen, deepening collaboration to strengthen the aviation maintenance industry. TotalEnergies and Xiamen ITG reached cooperation agreements for LNG, new energy investments, lubricants, and functional materials, elevating global industrial chain partnerships. Q Technology plans to invest in Xiamen's premium micro-driver operational headquarters, building a world-class smart manufacturing base compliant with Industry 4.0 standards. Beyond provincial-level signings, the delegation leveraged CIFIT to engage global institutions and investors, securing new agreements including Brookfield Asset Management's intent to establish a China Industrial Logistics Pre-REIT Fund with Xiamen.

9月8日下午，第二十五届中国国际投资贸易洽谈会“投资福建”重大项目集中签约仪式在厦门举行。厦门团成果丰硕，“吸金”361亿元。厦门代表团共签约重大招商项目11个，签约项目计划总投资361亿元，连续4届实现增长；签约项目计划总投资额、外资项目签约额连续4届位居全省首位。本次厦门代表团集中签约重大外资项目达6个，总投资额116亿元，涵盖电子信息、新能源、航空维修、金融服务等。港机集团将在厦开展飞机及发动机高性能维修项目，进一步深化在厦门的合作，助力厦门飞机维修产业做大做强。国际能源巨头法国道达尔能源集团与厦门国贸控股集团达成合作共识，双方将在LNG、新能源投资、润滑油以及功能材料等领域开展全面合作，提升产业链国际合作层次和水平。丘钛科技计划在厦门投资设立高端微型驱动器运营总部，建设世界一流符合工业4.0标准的智能制造基地。除了省级重大项目签约外，厦门团抓住投洽会契机，持续对接国际顶级机构和海内外客商，达成新一批招商成果。今年投洽会期间，世界500强加拿大博枫集团与厦门就共同设立中国工业物流Pre-REIT基金达成合作意向。

On September 9, the Hailian Global Lounge: UK–China (Xiamen) Business Exchange was successfully held. Mayor Wu Bin and His Majesty's Ambassador to China, Peter Wilson CMG, attended the event and delivered speeches. This event was co-hosted by the Xiamen Municipal Bureau of Commerce (Xiamen Municipal Investment Promotion Office) and the British Consulate-General in Guangzhou, with over 200 representatives from government departments, multinational corporations, and international business associations from both China and the UK in attendance. In recent years, exchanges and cooperation between Xiamen and the UK have deepened. In 2024, Xiamen's total import and export volume with the UK grew by 10% year-on-year. British enterprises, represented by the Taikoo Swire Group, have taken root in Xiamen and thrived. Thanks to its superior geographical advantages, first-class business environment, well-developed industrial chains, dynamic private economy, and mature cross-border trade ecosystem, Xiamen has become a crucial hub for Chinese enterprises “going global” and “bringing in” international resources. Xiamen hopes to work with the UK to further elevate the China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT) as a prestigious platform, leveraging it to facilitate in-depth collaboration between British enterprises and Xiamen, achieving mutual empowerment in both “bringing in” and “going global” efforts. The UK side noted that Xiamen and Cardiff are sister cities, and Cardiff University and Xiamen University maintain close ties. The UK expressed its desire to establish long-term connections with Chinese cities through CIFIT, further expanding economic, trade, and investment cooperation.

9月9日，“海联会客厅·走进投洽会”系列活动之“中国（厦门）——英国经贸交流活动”举行。市长伍斌、英国驻华大使魏磊出席活动并致辞。本次活动由厦门市商务局（市招商办）、英国驻广州总领事馆主办。来自中英两国的政府部门、跨国公司、国际商协会代表超200人参加。近年来，厦门与英国地方交流合作不断深入。2024年，厦门对英国进出口总额同比增长10%，以太古集团为代表的英国企业，扎根厦门、茁壮成长。厦门凭借优越的区位优势、一流的营商环境、完善的产业链条、活跃的民营经济及成熟的跨境贸易生态，已成为中国企业“走出去”与国际资源“引进来”的重要枢纽。厦门希望与英国共同擦亮投洽会这一金字招牌，以投洽会为媒，推动英国企业与厦门深度对接，实现“引进来”“走出去”的双向赋能。英方表示，厦门与英国卡迪夫是姐妹城市，卡迪夫大学和厦门大学也有着密切联系，英方希望通过投洽会，与中国城市建立长期联系，进一步拓展经贸投资合作。

On September 8, the 7th Silk Road Maritime International Cooperation Forum commenced in Xiamen. Participants emphasized that the Silk Road Maritime serves not only as a logistics corridor but also as a friendship bridge and a model for addressing global challenges through cooperation. Attendees urged enhanced consultation, joint development, and shared benefits, advancing multimodal land-sea-air transport, accelerating digital, intelligent, and green port development, improving trade facilitation, and promoting integrated port-shipping-trade development to expand global collaboration, jointly advancing the Silk Road Maritime initiative toward greater depth and substance, making greater contributions to high-quality development of the Belt and Road Initiative and accelerating the building of a community with a shared future for mankind. Representatives from global ports, shipping firms, logistics/trading enterprises, research institutions, universities, and Silk Road Maritime Alliance members attended. The forum released the top ten milestones of Silk Road Maritime development and the green port-shipping evaluation system. Currently, the alliance comprises 367 members, operates 148 designated routes across 150 ports in 48 countries/regions, and has handled over 24 million TEUs of container throughput.

On September 16–17, the 2025 BRICS Partnership on New Industrial Revolution Forum will be held in Xiamen under the theme “Unlocking the Potential of BRICS Cooperation for Inclusive and Sustainable Industrialization”. The Forum was first launched in 2019 and has been held in Xiamen for 5 consecutive years since 2020. Since 2022, the Forum has been incorporated into the official activities of the BRICS, becoming an annual flagship event for policy exchanges, industrial matchmaking, and collaborative discussions in the field of the new industrial revolution among BRICS nations. The Forum will highlight the fruitful outcomes of a series of major cooperation initiatives and unveil a series of public goods provided by China to promote BRICS collaboration. These include the achievements of the BRICS Partnership on New Industrial Revolution Innovation Center over its five-year development, as well as progress on three key cooperation initiatives: the China-BRICS AI Development and Cooperation Center, the BRICS Industrial Competence Center (China), and the BRICS Digital Industry Ecosystem Cooperation Network. To date, representatives from 34 countries and relevant international organizations have confirmed their participation. Among them, 19 ministerial-level delegations—including both long-standing and new BRICS members such as Brazil, Russia, Ethiopia, and Indonesia, as well as partner countries like Kazakhstan, Cuba, and Nigeria—will attend the forum.

9月16日至17日，以“释放大金砖合作潜力 实现包容可持续工业化”为主题的2025金砖国家新工业革命伙伴关系论坛将在厦门举办。金砖国家伙伴关系论坛始于2019年，自2020年起已连续5年在厦门举办。2022年以来，论坛纳入金砖国家官方活动，成为金砖国家新工业革命领域政策交流、产业对接、共商合作的年度盛会。论坛将重点展示系列重大合作倡议取得的丰硕成果，发布一系列中方为促进金砖合作提供的公共产品。包括金砖国家新工业革命伙伴关系创新基地建设五周年成果，中国-金砖国家人工智能发展与合作中心、金砖国家工业能力中国中心、金砖国家数字产业生态合作网络等三大合作倡议落实进展。目前，有来自34个国家和相关国际组织的代表确认参会。包括巴西、俄罗斯、埃塞俄比亚、印度尼西亚等新老金砖国家，哈萨克斯坦、古巴、尼日利亚等伙伴国在内的19个部级代表团将出席论坛。
