On May 20th, the creative team for the opening ceremony of the 15th National Games and China's 12th National Games for Persons with Disabilities and 9th National Special Olympic Games held their inaugural meeting at the Guangdong Olympic Sports Center Stadium. Core members, including the director, artistic director, and chief producer, made a collective appearance to reveal numerous highlights of this spectacular event to the public.
Chief Director Lang Kun introduced that the opening ceremony has progressed from the creative planning phase to the implementation stage, and is set to present a magnificent spectacle to the national audience on November 9th. He disclosed: "This time, we aim to craft a 'sea' inside the stadium, which is extremely challenging!" He emphasized that the team consistently adheres to the three-word guideline of "safety, simplicity, and brilliance," ensuring that the essence of traditional Chinese culture, Lingnan characteristics, and the charm of the Greater Bay Area are properly embodied.
Artistic Director Chen Weiya revealed that the opening ceremony will integrate elements of AI and robotics, making combination of technology and art a major highlight. "The innovative spirit of technology and art complements the spirit of sports," he stated.
Chief Producer Andrew Lau Wai-keung emphasized that this opening ceremony will highlight the cultural integration of Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao: "The three regions are inherently interconnected. Through this opening ceremony, we hope to showcase the heritage of these traditional cultures and the profound human touch of the Greater Bay Area." He also revealed that several artists from the Greater Bay Area will participate in the performance.
Executive Producer Wang Ruixiang stated that the team is scientifically structured with clearly defined roles, encompassing four major sectors: creativity, production, execution, and operation. Additionally, an advisory team comprising artists and experts from the GBA has been established to ensure the success of the opening ceremony.

主创团队“剧透”十五运开幕式：体育场里造“大海”！
5月20日，第十五届全国运动会和全国残疾人特奥会开幕式主创团队进驻大会在广东省奥体中心体育场举行，导演、艺术总监、总监制等核心成员集体亮相，向公众提前透露这场精彩盛会的诸多亮点。
总导演郎昆介绍，目前开幕式已从创意策划进入实施阶段，将在11月9日为全国观众呈现一场精彩壮丽的开幕式。他透露：“这一次，我们要在体育场里面制造‘大海’，难度非常大！”他强调，团队始终坚持“安全、简约、精彩”六字方针，确保呈现兼具中华优秀传统文化、岭南特色与湾区风采的作品。
艺术总监陈维亚透露，开幕式将融合AI与机器人元素，科技与艺术的融合将成为一大看点，“科技和艺术的创新精神与体育精神是相得益彰的。”
总监制刘伟强则强调本次开幕式将突出粤港澳文化融合：“粤港澳三地本来就是一家，我们这次的开幕式也是希望把这些传统文化的传承展现出来，展现出湾区浓厚的人情味。”他还透露，现场将有多位大湾区艺人参与演出。
总制作人王锐祥表示，团队设置科学、分工明确，涵盖创意、制作、执行、运营四大板块，并设有顾问团队，汇聚粤港澳地区艺术家与专家，为开幕式保驾护航。
