On May 11th, the orienteering events of the 15th National Games' mass sports competitions concluded in Dianbai, Maoming. A total of six gold medals were awarded across the categories of men's/women's relay, men's/women's team, and men's/women's radio direction finding team. Ultimately, the Guangdong team emerged as the biggest winner of the event with four gold medals.

The long-distance individual races of the men's and women's orienteering team events were held on the morning of May 11th at Litchi Park in Dianbai. In the women's team long-distance individual race, Guangdong's Chen Lizhen finished third with a time of 1:11:6. During the first two competition days, her teammates Su Dongzi and Wei Suyi won first place in the short-distance individual race (14 minutes and 13 seconds) and the middle-distance individual race (53 minutes and 48 seconds), respectively. According to the competition rules for the orienteering team event, the team rankings are determined by the sum of the rankings from three sub-events: the short-distance individual race, the middle-distance individual race, and the long-distance individual race. After the three races, Guangdong's team had the lowest cumulative ranking of 5, winning the gold medal in the women's orienteering team event. This marked the Guangdong team's third gold medal of the event, following their victories in the men's and women's relay events.

Chen Lizhen, who competed in the women's team long-distance individual race, hails from Zengcheng District, Guangzhou, and is currently a member of the national orienteering team. After finishing the race, Chen admitted that she and her teammates had undergone over a year of preparation for this gold medal. "I will reflect on the experiences from this competition and use them as a reference for my future orienteering races. I hope to achieve even better results in the future," she said.

In the men's orienteering team long-distance individual race held on the same morning, Liu Xiaoming from the Shanghai team finished first with a time of 1:9:48. In the earlier short-distance and middle-distance individual races, the Shanghai team had finished first and fourth, respectively. With a cumulative ranking of 6 across the three events, the Shanghai team had the lowest total and won the gold medal in the men's orienteering team event.

With this, the four gold medals for the orienteering events were awarded. The remaining two gold medals, in the men's and women's radio direction finding team events, were also decided on May 11th. According to the competition rules for radio direction finding team events, the team rankings are determined by the sum of the rankings in four sub-events: the 3.5 MHz short-distance individual race, the 3.5 MHz standard-distance individual race, the 144 MHz short-distance individual race, and the 144 MHz standard-distance individual race. In the men's team event, the Guangdong team secured three first-place finishes and one eighth-place finish in the four sub-events, resulting in a cumulative ranking of 11. This ranked them first among all teams, earning them the gold medal in the men's radio direction finding team event. Meanwhile, in the women's team event, the Shandong team achieved one first-place finish, two second-place finishes, and one ninth-place finish across the four sub-events. With a cumulative ranking of 14, they ranked first among all teams, winning the gold medal in the women's radio direction finding team event.

5月11日，十五运会群众赛事活动定向项目在茂名电白进行收官日的争夺。本次赛事共产生定向男子接力赛、定向女子接力赛、定向男子团体赛、定向女子团体赛、无线电测向男子团体赛、无线电测向女子团体赛共六枚金牌，最终广东队以四枚金牌的成绩完美收官，成为本届赛事中的最大赢家。

定向男子、女子团体赛的长距离个人赛11日上午在电白荔枝公园举行，在定向女子团体赛长距离个人赛中，广东队的陈丽珍以1小时11分6秒排名该小项第三，在前两个比赛日，陈丽珍的队友苏东梓、韦愫怡分别以14分13秒、53分48秒的成绩排名短距离个人赛和中距离个人赛第一名。根据定向团体赛竞赛规则，项目共包含短距离个人赛、中距离个人赛、长距离个人赛3个小项，以各队3个小项名次之和确定最终排名。三场比赛过后，广东队名次之和（5）数值最小，成功夺得定向女子团体金牌。这是广东队在本次赛事中继定向男子接力赛、定向女子接力赛后的第三枚金牌。

参加定向女子团体赛长距离个人赛的广东队选手陈丽珍来自广州增城，目前也是定向国家队成员。陈丽珍在完赛后坦言，为了这枚金牌，她和队友们经历了一年多的备战：“我接下来会把这次比赛总结到的经验继续沉淀，作为自己以后跑定向的参照。希望以后能取得更多好成绩。”

当天上午进行的定向男子团体长距离个人赛中，上海队刘晓明以1小时9分48秒的成绩排名该小项第一，在此前结束的短距离个人赛、中距离个人赛中，上海队分别获得第一名和第四名，最终三项成绩之和为6，在所有队伍中数值最小，上海队最终夺得定向男子团体赛金牌。

至此，本次赛事定向赛四枚金牌全部产生，剩余两个项目无线电测向男子团体赛、无线电测向女子团体赛也在11日决定金牌归属。根据无线电测向竞赛规则，无线电测向团体赛包含3.5MHz短距离个人赛、3.5MHz标准距离个人赛、144MHz短距离个人赛、144MHz标准距离个人赛4个小项，以各队4个小项名次之和确定最终排名。最终广东队在男子团体赛四个小项中获得三个第一名、一个第八名，小项总和11，排名所有队伍第一，成功夺得无线电测向男子团体金牌；女子团体赛中，山东队则以一个小项第一名、两个小项第二名、一个小项第九名，小项总和14的成绩排名所有队伍中第一，夺得女子团体赛金牌。
