In response to the national call for the Sunshine Sports initiative, to enrich campus cultural life, showcase the distinctive character of Beijing Language and Culture University as a "little United Nations," and promote table tennis exchanges between Chinese and international students at our university, the BLCU Table Tennis Association has planned and organized the 2025 BLCU "Sunshine Cup" Table Tennis Tournament for Freshmen. 竞赛说明
Instruction
1.本次比赛共有男子单打和女子单打两个项目
There are men's singles and women's singles.
2.比赛均采用单淘汰赛。
All knockouts.
3.比赛赛制均采用三局两胜制，每局比赛11分制。
The competition will adopt a best-of-three games format, with each game played under the 11-point system.
4.比赛采用中国乒乓球协会审定的最新《乒乓球竞赛规则》。
The competition adopts the latest "Table Tennis Competition Rules" approved by the Chinese Table Tennis Association.
5.比赛提供统一的专业比赛用球。
The competition provides a unified white professional match ball.
6.比赛上场运动员必须出示相关证件，由裁判员审查。
Athletes participating in the competition must present relevant documents for review by the referee.
7.通过抽签结果确定对手制作出比赛名单供裁判参考。本次比赛根据比赛参赛人数确定种子选手数量。
Determine the opponent through the lottery results and create a list of matches for the referee's reference. The number of seeded contestants for this competition will be determined based on the number of participants.

1. 单打男女组前三名分别颁发冠军亚军季军奖状及奖品。
The top three players in the singles men's and women's groups will receive certificate of merit and prizes for the champion, runner up, and third place respectively.

2. 大一的中国本科生参加此次比赛能获得体育课竞赛五分。
Chinese undergraduate students in their first year can earn five points in the physical education competition by participating in this competition.

3.附加分奖励：若某项参赛人数少于3(含)队/人，不予加分；参赛人数为4或5队/人只给第一名加分；参赛人数为6(含)队/人以上，加分比例为参赛队/人数的1/3，小数点后按照四舍五入计算；参赛人数超过18(含)队/人以上，加分人数原则上不超过6队/人。（若获奖人员不计算附加分，附加分奖励向后顺延，奖项等级和奖牌奖品不变。）
Additional bonus points: If the number of participants in a certain event is less than or equal to 3 teams/person, no bonus points will be awarded; If the number of participants is 4 or 5 teams/person, only the first place will be awarded points; If the number of participants is 6 or more teams/people, the bonus ratio is 1/3 of the number of participating teams/people, rounded to the nearest decimal point; If the number of participants exceeds 18 (including) teams/person, the number of bonus points should not exceed 6 teams/person in principle. (If the winners do not include additional points, the additional point rewards will be postponed, and the award level and medal prizes will remain unchanged.)

Other instructions
a、参赛者需自备球拍（两面胶皮颜色须不相同，且一面为黑色）、球服（不能与比赛用球颜色一致，即双方不能穿着白色上衣）等。乒协会统一提供白色比赛用球。
Participants are required to bring their own rackets (two sides of the rubber must be of different colors, and one side must be black), uniforms (cannot match the color of the ball used in the competition, i.e. both sides cannot wear white tops), etc. The Table Tennis Association will provide white competition balls uniformly.
b、各参赛队员需要提前10分钟到达指定比赛地点，在规定的时间、规定的地点开始比赛，迟到2分钟以上视作弃权。
Each participating team member is required to arrive at the designated competition venue 10 minutes in advance and start the competition at the designated time and location. Being more than 2 minutes late will be considered as a waiver.
c、各参赛人员需服从和尊重裁判，比赛结果以当值裁判的裁决为准。
All participants are required to obey and respect the referee, and the results of the competition shall be subject to the ruling of the referee on duty.
d、最终解释权归北京语言大学乒乓球协会所有。
The final interpretation right belongs to the Table Tennis Association of Beijing Language and Culture University.
