Engineering problems can be solved using the formula "efficiency = total quantity / time". Let the total quantity be the least common multiple of the efficiencies (for example, if person A works 3 days and person B works 5 days, set the total quantity as 15); for economic profits, remember "profit rate = (selling price - cost) / cost". When encountering discount questions, directly set the cost as 100 yuan to quickly solve them. For problems involving fixed ratios and maximum/minimum values, follow the "find the maximum and the rest is the minimum" rule. For example, when dividing 2000 yuan among 5 people, directly choose 600 yuan (the options must include it).
