In his speech, Cai Guoqiang, wearing an orange Arc'teryx jacket, expressed awe at the spectacle, describing it as "a swirling dragon" and thanking local herders and "clever animals" for their cooperation.

据了解，艺术烟花活动燃放时间52秒，共燃放烟花1050盆，采取钢筋扦插固定方式悬挂和烟花箱方式燃放。活动地点所在地的山体海拔4500米，植被以高山草甸为主，虽然不涉及自然保护区、风景名胜区等自然保护地和生态保护红线，也不涉及林业，但距离最近水体约30米，距离最近的冰川约6公里。

Reporters visiting the site noted visible traces of the activity at the 4,500-meter-altitude location in Gyalze county. The display, which lasted 52 seconds, involved 1,050 fireworks containers fixed to the mountain ridge using steel rebars and ignited from fireworks boxes. Though the site was not within a nature reserve or ecological protection zone, its proximity to key natural features — 30 meters from the nearest water body and 6 kilometers from the nearest glacier — raised alarms.

The China Small Animal Protection Association later issued a statement warning that the fireworks' vibrations and noise could collapse rodent burrows, disrupt wildlife foraging before winter, and force animals to flee their habitats. Experts emphasized the fragility of the Tibetan Plateau, where vegetation regeneration can take decades.
