"In the past, sorting was done manually, but now it's no longer needed," he said, noting that the intelligent equipment in the hub has made the job more efficient and easier.

In March of this year, a company from Guangzhou established the first 5G smart logistics hub in southern Xinjiang, located in Kashi. Since then, the delivery time for online shopping in Kashi—which previously took about 7–10 days—has been significantly shortened to just 1–3 days, with the fastest service achieving same-day delivery.

As more hubs like the Kashi Xin Guang Smart Logistics Hub emerge, Guangdong's influence is gradually taking root in Xinjiang. The data transaction volume of the Guangzhou Data Exchange (Kashi) Service Area has exceeded 100 million yuan, making the digital economy a key driver of Kashi's new quality productive forces.

As night falls, modern factory buildings on the edge of the Taklimakan Desert roar with the noise of machines. It's hard to imagine that just five years ago, this area was largely uninhabited desert. From 2020 to 2025, over 833 million yuan in funding from Guangdong has been injected into the Tumushuke Economic and Technological Development Zone. From January to May 2025, the gross industrial output value of 21 textile and garment enterprises above designated size in Tumushuke reached 1.495 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 40.1%.

夜幕降临，塔克拉玛干沙漠边缘一座座现代化厂房的车间内机器轰鸣。谁能想到，5年前这里还是人迹罕至的沙海。2020年至2025年，已有超8.33亿元广东资金注入图木舒克经济技术开发区。2025年1月至5月，图木舒克市21家规上纺织服装企业工业总产值达14.95亿元，同比增长40.1%。
