Across 11 cities, more than 100 outstanding performances, 19 art exhibitions, 150 public-benefit shows, and a series of art lectures are featured at the 5th Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area(GBA) Culture and Arts Festival, striking three movements of high-quality cultural offerings.
The first movement highlights both "bringing in" and "going global." On one hand, more world-class performances are coming to the GBA, such as Russia's Vakhtangov Theatre making its Shenzhen debut with the dramas "Eugene Onegin" and "Uncle Vanya," Matthew Bourne's"Swan Lake" returning to Guangzhou after six years, and the French hit musical"Molière" launching its China premiere. On the other hand, a wave of fine productions is gaining recognition both at home and abroad, such as the Cantonese opera "Samsui Women," which has been staged twice in Singapore, rekindling shared cultural memories between the two regions.
The second movement seamlessly blends high art with accessible affordability. This cultural extravaganza offers tickets as low as 30 yuan, with over 50 percent of seats reserved at discounted prices, enabling more people to enjoy theater performances. International productions, including the Greek opera "La Traviata" and Matthew Bourne's "Swan Lake," will also host outdoor flash events and open sharing sessions for the public.
The third movement represents the couplingof Talent, capital, projects, and creativity. The opening concert, "Symphony of the Bay Area," features the piece "Aureate Skylines," composed by a Hong Kong musician born after 1995. Talent development initiatives such as the "Greater Bay Area Youth Orchestra" are also taking shape, ensuring that cultural offerings evolve from "momentary brilliance" into "lasting nourishment."

11座城市、超100场精品演出、19场艺术展览、150场公益演出及系列艺术讲堂……第五届粤港澳大湾区文化艺术节又迎来诸多新气象,奏响“高品质文化供给”的三重乐章。
第一重奏是“引进来”与“走出去”的双向奔赴。一方面,越来越多的高水平演出入“湾”,比如,俄罗斯瓦赫坦戈夫剧院首次到访深圳,上演话剧《叶甫盖尼·奥涅金》《万尼亚舅舅》;马修·伯恩版芭蕾舞剧《天鹅湖》时隔6年再临广州;法国现象级音乐剧《莫里哀》开启中国首演。另一方面,一大批精品力作在海内外频频“出圈”,比如粤剧《红头巾》两度赴新加坡演出,勾连起两地人民共同的文化记忆。
第二重奏是“殿堂级”与“烟火气”的普惠交融。这场文化艺术盛宴,以低至30元的票价、超50%的惠民票比例,让更多人能够走进剧场。希腊歌剧《茶花女》、马修·伯恩版芭蕾舞剧《天鹅湖》等在内的国际剧目都将策划举办户外快闪、公开分享等公众活动。
第三重奏是人才、资本、项目、创意的耦合。开幕演出《湾区华章》主题交响音乐会演出曲目《天穹之志:大湾华章》由香港“95后”作曲家创作。“大湾区青年管弦乐团”等人才聚合项目落地,让文化供给从“一时精彩”变成“长久滋养”。
