Hunan Province recently held a cultural tourism promotion conference at the China Cultural Center in Moscow, Russia, showcasing Hunan's rich cultural tourism resources to people from all walks of life in Russia. With the theme of "Welcome to Charming Hunan," the event aimed to promote the global reach of Hunan culture and to further explore the Russian market for Hunan tourism.

At the promotion conference, the Hunan delegation made three thematic presentations titled "Hunan's Five Cultural Tourism Calling Cards", "Zhangjiajie: A Fairyland Enchanting the World", and "Riding the Wind to Meet in Hunan." These sessions highlighted Hunan's advantageous cultural tourism resources, international flight services, and facilitation measures for inbound travelers, comprehensively showcasing the cultural tourism brand of "Welcome to Charming Hunan."

The event featured vibrant cultural performances, including a Changde silk string performance of "Meet in Hunan" and an ethnic dance called "Song of Fenghuang," vividly demonstrating the profound features of Hunan culture. Exhibitions of Hunan brand products such as Hunan embroidery, Hunan tea, and Hunan porcelain were also set up on site, enhancing participants' engagement and attracting numerous travel agents to explore the displays.

Wang Rui, director of China's National Tourist Office in Moscow and deputy director of the China Cultural Center in Moscow, stated that the event marked a significant step in deepening cultural and tourism exchanges between China and Russia. The activity will help foster ongoing collaboration between Hunan Province and Russia while elevating the recognition and influence of Hunan's cultural tourism brand in the Russian market.

The head of the Foreign Government Agencies Cooperation Division of the Moscow City Tourism Committee, remarked that Hunan boasts abundant tourism resources and profound cultural heritage. The spokesperson added that Russian tourists are deeply fascinated by Hunan, and anticipated that Moscow and Hunan Province will strengthen cultural and tourism cooperation. A representative from the Promotion and Exchange Division of the Hunan Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism expressed the hope that through the event, more Russian friends will get to know Hunan and come to visit.
