The booming growth of the emerging robotics industry is a microcosm of Guangdong's development of new productive forces. Over the past year, Guangdong produced over 240,000 industrial robots, a 31.2% increase, accounting for 44% of the national output, maintaining the top position for five years in a row. Guangdong has also established multiple innovation centers. After decades of development, Guangdong has become the largest domestic hub for the smart robotics industry, leading China in both scale and number.

Humanoid robots developed by companies like UBTECH, AgiBot, and GAC Group all originated in Guangdong. Globally, about 38% of humanoid supply chain companies are based in China, with around 57% of them located in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. Li-Gong Industrial Co., Ltd. in Guangzhou unveiled the "LIDIAN D1," a robot with five degrees of freedom in each leg and eight degrees of freedom in each arm.

The international success of Guangdong's robot industry reflects its rapid development. XAG, a drone manufacturer, started in 2016 with modest beginnings. But now, it conducts over 100,000 hectares of operations annually, with flight permits from the UK and the US, thus expanding globally. Lingdu(X-human) curtain wall cleaning robots have enteRed markets in Kuwait, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, the UK, Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, and Dubai through exhibitions and competitions.

Guangdong's robotic enterprises have also shone at international exhibitions. Jiaten Robotics from Guangdong secured a spot at the world's largest industrial fair, with its products winning the prestigious German Red Dot Design Award. Hanyang Technology's Yarbo robot attracted significant attention at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, USA. Yunzhou-Tech launched several unmanned ships in Zhuhai, Guangdong, while WeRide unveiled China's first 24/7 autonomous cargo vehicle loading test in Guangzhou.

Looking back a decade ago, it was rare to find "Made-in-Guangdong" robots abroad. Nowadays, these robots are present worldwide. Behind the "going global" wave is Guangdong's solid foundation in the field, with a strong presence from internationally renowned companies such as KUKA, HANSLASER, MINO, UBTECH, and Cambricon, as well as local "rising stars" like Risong Technology, GSK, Huashu Robot, and Li-Gong Industrial.

机器人行业的“新新”向荣，是广东发展新质生产力的一个缩影。过去一年，广东工业机器人产量超24万台（套），增长31.2%，占全国44%，连续5年全国第一，还组建多个创新中心。经过数十年的发展，广东已经成为国内最大的智能机器人产业集聚区，产业规模、数量均居全国首位。

优必选、智元、广汽等企业推出的人形机器人都诞生于广东。全球约38%的人形机器人供应链企业在中国，其中约57%位于粤港澳大湾区。广州里工实业发布的“里工D1”，腿部各有5个自由度，手臂各有8个自由度。

“出海”彰显“粤字号”机器人产业的迅猛发展。极飞科技无人机从2016年艰难起步，到如今每年作业超10万亩次，还获英国、美国飞行许可，走向世界。凌度智能研发的幕墙清洗机器人，通过参展、参赛，成功进入科威特、巴林、沙特阿拉伯、英国、澳大利亚、新加坡、马来西亚和迪拜等国家和地区。

在国际大展上，广东机器人企业同样大放光彩。广东嘉腾机器人在世界最大工业博览会上获展位，产品还荣获德国红点设计奖；汉阳科技的庭院机器人在美国拉斯维加斯消费电子展上备受瞩目；云洲智能在珠海推出多款无人船艇，文远知行在广州开展中国首个7×24全天时的自动驾驶货运车载货测试。

回溯十几年前，国外鲜少能见到“广东造”机器人；如今，“广东造”机器人已遍布世界各地。在“出海潮”的背后，是广东在机器人领域的实力和底气：库卡、大族、明珞、优必选、寒武纪等一批国内外知名企业，广州瑞松、广州数控、华数机器人、里工实业等一批本土“新秀”。
