春节假期即将结束了，不会你还不清楚holiday和vacation的区别吧？
1. Holiday or Vacation？
这两个单词是不是难倒你们了，其实holiday和vacation均可指不工作或不上学进行休息的假期。他们的区别在于holiday更多用于英式英语中。
同时表示“暂时性的休假”的时候，一般会用off而不回去用on holiday！
再拓展holiday也可以作动词，表示“度假”，多用于新闻报道中。
holiday /ˈhɒlədeɪ/ n. 假期常用来表示公众假期，其中包括法定节假日和宗教有关的假期，比如Labor Day holiday 劳动节假期、a summer holiday 暑假、National Day Holidays 国庆假期！Did you plan to travel in the Holidays.
