On May 20, the Special Meeting of China-ASEAN Economic and Trade Ministers was held online, where both sides officially announced the completion of negotiations for the Version 3.0 China-ASEAN Free Trade Area (CAFTA).

The 22nd CAEXPO will host a series of academic exchange activities, release a Blue Book, and promote new opportunities arising from CAFTA 3.0 — offering participants a first look and early access to its benefits.

A new wave of technological revolution and industrial transformation, driven by artificial intelligence (AI), is reshaping global development. Embracing AI is embracing the future. The 22nd CAEXPO will feature a dedicated AI Pavilion showcasing the latest trends, applications, and cutting-edge technologies and products. A New Quality Productive Forces Pavilion and a Blue Economy Zone will also be introduced to foster innovation and cooperation.

Promoting Cross-Border Industrial Chain Integration

Fostering cross-border industrial chain integration will be one of the most anticipated highlights.The Expo will showcase the complete industrial chains of key industries such as advanced manufacturing, high-end equipment, fine chemicals, and food processing. In addition, emerging industry forums and cross-border supply chain matchmaking events will be organized to promote the development of regional advanced industrial clusters.
