Hello, old friends! This morning, a Belarusian media delegation visited Gansu Daily, Gansu Daily Newspaper Group, and Gansu New Media Group for visit and exchanges. Both sides renewed friendship, explored cooperation, and discussed future plans. The "CHEERS" joint reporting project between Gansu International Communication Center, the Belarusian Association of Journalists, and Minsk-News Agency was simultaneously launched. The two parties will collaborate to share stories of people-to-people connections between China and Belarus.

白俄罗斯媒体团一行先后参观了新甘肃云省级技术平台、新甘肃客户端、奔流新闻客户端，了解了《甘肃日报》从一张报纸转向报、网、端、微、屏全媒体传播格局的发展历程及探索实践。“非常高兴来到甘肃，这是一次来之不易，而且非常珍贵的经历。”参观新甘肃客户端编辑部，看到丰富多样的新闻产品时，白俄罗斯电视广播公司第一信息频道通讯网络部副部长奥克萨娜·希德洛夫斯卡亚说，“甘肃日报采用传统媒体、新媒体相结合的传播方式，向中国以及世界读者展示甘肃在农业、工业、文化等领域取得的成就，我看到了很多新的创意、做法，值得我们学习。”
The delegation toured the New Gansu Cloud provincial-level technical platform, New Gansu Application, and Benliu News Application, learning about Gansu Daily's evolution from a single newspaper to an all-media communication matrix encompassing print, web, apps, social media, and digital screens. "It's a great pleasure to visit Gansu. This is a hard-won and precious experience," said Aksana Shydlouskaya, Deputy Director of the Communication Network Department at Belarusian Television and Radio Company's First Channel, while visiting the New Gansu Application editorial office. She remarked, "By integrating traditional and new media, Gansu Daily showcases the province's achievements in agriculture, industry, culture, and other fields to both Chinese and global audiences. I’ve seen many innovative approaches worth learning from."

近年来，甘肃日报社、甘肃日报报业集团坚持先进技术为支撑、内容建设为根本，推动传统媒体和新兴媒体在内容、渠道、平台等方面深度融合，形成立体多样、融合发展的现代传播体系。为提升自身传播能力、水平，扩大甘肃声音覆盖面，甘肃国际传播中心于2022年应运而生。中心根植甘肃文化沃土，以“一带一路”为线脉，持续推进中国故事和中国声音的全球化表达，打造了一张具有“国际风范、中国元素、甘肃特色”的国际传播新名片。
In recent years, Gansu Daily and Gansu Daily Newspaper Group have prioritized advanced technology and content development, driving deep integration of traditional and emerging media in content, channels, and platforms to establish a multidimensional, converged modern communication system. To enhance communication capabilities and amplify Gansu’s global voice, the Gansu International Communication Center was established in 2022. Rooted in Gansu’s cultural heritage and guided by the Belt and Road Initiative, the center continues to globalize Chinese narratives, forging a new international communication brand with "global standards, Chinese essence, and Gansu characteristics."
甘肃同白俄罗斯在新闻传播领域的交流交往由来已久，早在2023年8月，甘肃日报报业集团（甘肃新媒体集团）就与白俄罗斯记者联盟和明斯克-新闻通讯社签署交流合作协议，同步实现甘肃国际传播中心与白俄罗斯记者联盟双向挂牌成立国际传播联络站，推动媒体合作进入机制化、常态化新阶段。两年来，双方通过搭建制度化交流平台，实现新闻资源共享与传播渠道互鉴，为创新国际传播话语体系提供了有益借鉴。
Exchanges between Gansu and Belarus in media communication have a long history. As early as August 2023, Gansu Daily Newspaper Group (Gansu New Media Group) signed cooperation agreements with the Belarusian Association of Journalists and Minsk-News Agency. This included the mutual establishment of international communication liaison stations between Gansu International Communication Center and the Belarusian Association of Journalists, elevating media collaboration to an institutionalized and regularized stage. Over the past two years, both sides have built structured platforms for resource sharing and channel exchanges, offering valuable insights for innovating international communication frameworks.

今天上午，双方在甘肃共同启动的“CHEERS”联合采访活动，既体现了地方媒体对接国家战略的主动作为，又彰显了新型主流媒体在跨文化传播中的创新突破。“CHEERS”翻译为“干杯”，“干”（甘）代表甘肃，“杯”（白）代表白俄罗斯，这也是双方友谊的体现。采访活动将围绕甘肃与白俄罗斯两地在经济、教育、农业、文化等领域的合作交流，推出系列融媒体报道，每期包括短视频、海报及中、英、俄多语种图文稿件，并在双方媒体同步进行播发，通过双向寻踪实现文明对话的“轻量化传播”，为增进中白友谊贡献媒体力量。
The "CHEERS" joint reporting program launched this morning in Gansu reflects regional media’s proactive alignment with national strategies and highlights innovative breakthroughs in cross-cultural communication by new mainstream media. "CHEERS" translates to "干杯" (Ganbei) in Chinese, with "甘" (Gan) symbolizing Gansu and "白" (Bai) representing Belarus, embodying their friendship. The campaign will produce multimedia reports on Gansu-Belarus collaborations in economy, education, agriculture, and culture. Each release will include short videos, posters, and multilingual articles (Chinese, English, Russian), disseminated simultaneously through both parties’ media platforms. This "lightweight communication" through bilateral storytelling aims to foster civilizational dialogue and strengthen China-Belarus ties with media power.
