个人简介:马英矫,高级工程师,北京邮电大学信息与通信工程专业博士毕业,现任北京中科晶上科技股份有限公司总经理助理,曾任中科院计算所无线中心硬件部负责人。本人长期从事移动通信终端基带芯片、卫星地面关口站系统的研制和产业化工作。作为技术负责人和主要参与人参与了国家科技重大专项、北京市重大科技项目、中科院BM项目以及企业横向合作等十余个项目的研发工作,荣获“中国科学院科技促进发展奖”,发表多篇SCI期刊文章,专利达20余项。在产业化工作方面,面向卫星互联网领域,主导研制中国第一代天通卫星通信的无线通信终端基带芯片和地面关口站系统,并推进卫星在手机直联,汽车直联的业务拓展;面向工业互联网领域,主导研制了工业级5G终端基带芯片,基于芯片研制了计算、通信、控制为一体的开放式无线工业控制系统,积极推进在柔性智造、仓储物流、机器人、工业控制,飞机制造等领域的芯片产业化工作。

个人简介:NGUYEN HUU TRUNG received the Dipl. of Eng., M.E., and Ph.D. from the Department of Communications Engineering, School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Hanoi University of Science and Technology in 1996, 1998, and 2004, respectively. Since 1998, he has been a lecturer in the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Hanoi University of Science and Technology. He is currently tenured as an Associate Professor, senior lecturer, head of Aerospace Electronic Laboratory, head of Digital Communication Group at School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering and deputy director of Facilites management department at Hanoi University of Science and Technology. His research interests include advanced modulation techniques based on Wavelet Theory, GNSS, SDR, massive MIMO, MC-CDMA, 5G/6G broadcasts, IoV, satellites, and UAV.
演讲主题:China-Vietnam bilateral project: Research and Development on New Generation Intelligent Internet of Vehicles Technologies
演讲摘要:China and Vietnam are both currently facing rapid urbanization. This leads to numerous problems and challenges in city management, especially in road traffic systems. Utilizing advanced information and communication technology (ICT), for example artificial intelligence, 5G/6G systems, … to create “intelligent transportation systems (ITSs)” has been widely deemed as an effective solution to solve the road accident and congestion issues and thus has attracted tremendous attentions in various governmental, industrial, and academic sectors. The concept of Internet of vehicles (IoV) allows vehicles to share information with their surroundings, so that the capability of each individual vehicle can be significantly improved. The main objective of the project is to develop a hardware and software Intelligent IoV platform which is installed on vehicles and roadside units (RSUs), such that sensing data collected from various sensors can be shared and processed in real time for facilitating road condition monitoring, route plan, drivers’ status analysis, and rapid response to unexpected events. In this talk, we present the collaboration of researchers in China and Vietnam and recent achivement of the project.

演讲主题:Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare in Indonesia
演讲摘要:Indonesia proposed National Strategy of Artificial Intelligence in 2020. The framework of the strategy consists of 4 focus areas, and 5 prorities field in which health services is mentioned as one of the priorities. Application of AI in healthcare is very important issue since Indonesia has more than 17 thousand islands, and the health services varies between one island and the others. In Eastern side of Indonesia, Malaria is still become a serious problem. We develop a Computer Aided Diagnosis System to automatically identify the Malaria status of a patient based on blood smears microphotograph. The data were obtained from various location in Indonesia. We proposed morpho-geometrical feature extraction to deal with morphological alteration of the erythrocyte infected by the parasite. The second example is our effort in pandemic situation. Collaboratively with researchers from various universities and industries, we developed a system to assist diagnosis of Covid-19 from CT-scan images. We worked together in pandemic situation without offline meeting each other. We also collected training dataset from hospitals in Indonesia. The research result was evaluated in the hospital and launched by Indonesia’s President. The evaluation of the system using larger dataset is the future work of this study.

•Conducted pioneering research in computer vision applications for traffic density estimation, pothole detection, and intelligent transportation systems.
•Developed cutting-edge AI-based solutions for agricultural monitoring using drones and hyperspectral imaging.
•Published extensively in high-impact journals, contributing to advancements in biomedical imaging, including early detection of osteoporosis and diabetic macular edema.
•Authored and led research on intelligent traffic monitoring systems, vehicle speed estimation, and helmet detection using deep learning.
•Mentored and collaborated on innovative projects involving pattern recognition, machine learning, and multispectral data processing.
Prof. Harjoko’s work has been funded by esteemed organizations such as the Indonesian Ministry of Education and LPDP, and his contributions have had a tangible impact on both academic and applied fields.
演讲主题:AI in Agriculture: A few case studies
演讲摘要:In this talk, a brief summary of the use of AI to solve several cases in the agricultural sector is presented. In the first case, AI is used to predict the viability of plant seeds by evaluating the internal condition of the seeds. In the second case, IoT and AI were used to increase shallot productivity in Kulon Progo district in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, by arranging the irrigation system and mapping the nutritional content of the onion farming land. Next, AI is used to characterize the tea based on the aroma and color of the brew. In the fourth case, AI is used to classify dried tobacco leaves based on the rules that applicable for the company. Promising results were obtained for the cases discussed.

个人简介:Prof. Kok-Lim Alvin Yau is a Professor at Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman, Malaysia, specializing in applied artificial intelligence, generative artificial intelligence, augmented intelligence, and large language models. With over 16 years of experience in AI and its applications, he has secured and led five major external research grants, including four national-level and one international grant from the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC). His APEC-funded project, Application of Generative Artificial Intelligence to Accelerate Industry 4.0 Transformation in Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), aims to develop policies that assist MSMEs in adopting generative AI across the Asia-Pacific region. Prof. Yau has been named among Stanford University's Top 2% Scientists for five consecutive years (2020–2024) and is also included in the career-long Top 2% list. He is a Founding Member of the IEEE Special Interest Group on Big Data with Computational Intelligence. Prof. Yau holds a Master's degree from the National University of Singapore and a Ph.D. from Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand.

个人简介:Dr. Noppadon Khiripet has joined the National Electronics and Computer Technology Center (NECTEC) since 2001 after completed his Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Georgia Institute of Technology, USA. He is currently a principal researcher in Data Science and Analytics Research Group. His areas of expertise are in machine learning, intelligent systems, and geospatial analytics. During the past decade, he has been involved and led many digital agriculture projects. For example, the prediction of growth and yield of Eucalyptus tree for the paper industry, the development of the population migration model for Brown Plant Hopper outbreaks, and the Agricultural Map for Adaptive Management (Agri-Map) for government’s nation-wide agricultural zoning policy. Moreover, He was the leader in the cognitive and climate-smart agriculture for sugarcane project, which aims to employ AI and remote sensing technology for managing sugarcane estates. His current projects include the UNCCD land degradation assessment and the EUDR deforestation rise assessment.
