丁雪洁教授是香港大学社会工作与社会行政学系助理教授（终身教职轨），于牛津大学社会学系获博士学位（DPhil in Sociology），研究领域涵盖健康不平等、工作与家庭、生命历程与社会基因组学（sociogenomics）。她的研究聚焦于理解社会环境与生物过程如何交织作用、塑造不同人生阶段的健康与福祉。
丁教授的工作发表于Nature Human Behaviour、Social Science & Medicine、Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences of the United States of America 等国际顶级期刊。
Prof. Xuejie Dingis anAssistant Professor (tenure-track)at HKU and holds aDPhil (PhD) in Sociology from the University of Oxford. Her research examineshealth inequalities, work and family dynamics, and sociogenomics, exploring how social and biological processes interact across the life course. Her work has appeared in

博士生的研究计划可围绕以下主题展开（但不限于）：
Prospective PhD students may develop projects related to (but not limited to):
•工作时间安排与24/7社会中的健康
（working-time arrangements and health in 24/7 societies）
•健康不平等与社会分层
（biosocial determinants and health inequalities）
• 社会基因组学与生命历程健康差异
（ sociogenomics and life-course health disparities ）
学生将获得跨学科的研究指导，并有机会在国际合作网络中开展创新研究。
Students will receive interdisciplinary training and work within an international collaborative research environment.

申请条件（Qualifications）
申请人需英文流利，具备（任一）社会工作、社会学、人口学、公共卫生或相关领域背景，拥有扎实的定量研究能力。熟练使用统计软件（如Stata、R或Python）者优先。
Applicants should have a strong quantitative background in social work, sociology, demography, public health, or related fields. Experience with statistical software (Stata, R, or Python) is an asset.
