On the evening of September 23rd, French time, the international version of the Sino-France co-produced documentary "PONT TUNNEL SHENZHONG: LA LIAISON MARITIME DE TOUS LES DÉFIS" premiered at the China Cultural Center in the heart of Paris. Jointly produced by Guangdong Sharp Sense Media and the French company Ah! Production, the documentary debuted on France's RMC Découverte in May 2025, and has been distributed to multiple countries, including the Czech Republic and Italy. It marks Zhongshan's first international co-production and distribution of a documentary, as well as a milestone in the global outreach of Chinese documentaries on major engineering projects.

Breaking away from the traditional narrative of engineering documentaries, the film blends human stories and technological breakthroughs with a cinematic approach. Shot with equipment such as 6K panoramic cameras and underwater robots, it delivers visually stunning scenes enhanced by CG effects. Chen Weile, construction commander of the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Link mega-project, noted that the documentary recorded the journey of 15,000 builders, showcasing the Chinese people's efforts to create a better life.

The collaboration began in 2023, when Guangdong Sharp Sense Media debuted the film at the Sunny Side of the Doc in France, where it received high acclaim. A cooperation agreement was signed in 2024.. French director Benoît Boisson said the two teams shared a strong creative vision and paid tribute to the dedication of the Chinese production crew. Following the screening, French audiences noted that the film had reshaped their understanding of Chinese engineering, praising the wisdom and perseverance of Chinese builders.

According to chief director Song Zhang, the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Link is a symbol of human collaboration and ingenuity, and the documentary serves as a cultural bridge. Such partnerships exemplify a new paradigm for China's international communication. It promotes Lingnan culture to the world and provides an exemplary model telling local Chinese stories on the global stage, thereby achieving a leap from simple global outreach to real cultural convergence.
纪录片《深中通道》国际版在法国公映
法国时间9月23日晚，中法合拍纪录片《深中通道：挑战极限的海上通途》（国际版）在巴黎中国文化中心专场公映。该片由广东声屏传媒与法国Ah! Production联合制作，今年5月登陆法国RMC发现频道，已发行至捷克、意大利等多国，是中山纪录片国际合拍发行首例，也是中国重大工程题材纪录片全球传播里程碑。
影片突破传统工程纪录片叙事，以电影化手法融合人文故事与技术突破，用6K全景相机、水下机器人等拍摄，搭配CG特效呈现震撼画面。深圳至中山跨江通道项目建设指挥长陈伟乐表示，影片记录1.5万名建设者历程，展现中国人民创造幸福的努力。
合作始于2023年，广东声屏传媒携该片亮相法国国际阳光纪录片节，获高度评价；2024年双方签署合作协议。法方导演贝努瓦·布瓦松称，双方创作理念高度契合，致敬中方摄制团队。映后，法国观众表示该片刷新对中国工程认知，赞叹建设者智慧与毅力。
纪录片总导演宋璋表示，深中通道是人类合作与智慧的象征，纪录片搭建起文化桥梁。这类合作展现我国国际传播新范式，推动岭南文化走向世界，为中国地方题材国际表达提供可复制经验，实现从“出海”到“融通”的跨越。
