The Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region announced that, effective October 1, 2025, the scope of exemption from the Air Passenger Departure Tax will be expanded to cover the following categories of travelers.

香港特别行政区政府宣布，自2025年10月1日起，航空旅客离境税的豁免范围将扩大，涵盖以下类别的旅客：

1.Passengers arriving in Hong Kong by air and departing by air within the following day; and

1. 乘飞机抵达香港并在次日乘飞机离境的旅客；以及

2.Passengers entering Hong Kong by land or sea and departing by air on the same day or the next day (excluding those who had already left Hong Kong by land or sea on the day of or the day before their air departure).

2. 通过陆路或海路进入香港，并在同一天或次日乘飞机离境的旅客（不包括在离境当天或前一天已通过陆路或海路离开香港的旅客）。

This new arrangement is designed to give travelers more flexibility and encourage them to extend their stay in Hong Kong, allowing them to explore and enjoy the city’s unique attractions.

这一新安排旨在为旅客提供更大的灵活性，并鼓励他们延长在香港的停留时间，以便探索和享受这座城市独特的景点。

Eligible passengers who have already paid the Air Passenger Departure Tax when purchasing their tickets may apply for a refund.
