When sitting in a rice transplanter, there is no need to touch the steering wheel—the machine can drive straight, turn, and transplant rice seedlings autonomously with high efficiency. Behind this "driverless transplanting" is a small device called agricultural machinery autopilot. According to Lu Zhaoying, Manager of Government Affairs in XAG, traditional rice transplanters require two operators, but now it just takes 20 minutes to install the new system to enable autonomous driving, allowing one person to complete the job. "Using an autonomous transplanter can save 300 to 400 yuan in labor costs per day," she said. "It's a game-changer for farmers."

Agricultural machines equipped with autopilot systems are currently widely used in seeding, transplanting, trenching, and film mulching, contributing to over 74% of China's agricultural mechanization.

Technology has not only transformed how crops are planted, but also how seeds are sown. In another field of the Super Farm, a drone is precisely sowing seeds along a pre-set flight path. With just a tap on a smartphone, the drone will distribute seeds across the field evenly. Its speed, sowing intervals and depth are all controlled by the system, ensuring both efficiency and accuracy. "Agricultural drones can not only sow and fertilize, but also handle pest control and even transport tasks," said Ye Yonghui, Operations Manager of XAG Super Farm.

XAG has also introduced a smart water and fertilizer management system to address the traditional challenges of time-consuming, labor-intensive and imprecise irrigation. Farmers can set up plans via mobile phone, and the system will automatically adjust water and fertilizer levels for timely and accurate irrigation. "Technology has taken farming from 'bending over the soil' to 'farming at your fingertips,' " Ye said.

坐上插秧机,记者发现无需握方向盘,设备便可自动直线行驶、转弯并高效插秧。这一“无人插秧”的背后,是一台名为农机自驾仪的小装置。极飞科技政府事务经理卢钊颖介绍,传统插秧机需要两人配合,而如今只需20分钟安装,就能让农机具备自动驾驶能力,单人即可完成作业。她表示:“使用自动驾驶插秧机,一天可节省300元至400元人工成本,是农民的‘插秧神器’。”

目前,装配自驾仪的农机已广泛应用于播种、插秧、开沟、覆膜等农业作业,助力全国农机装备综合机械化率超过74%。

科技不仅改变“种”,也改变了“撒”。在超级农场另一处田地,无人机正按照预设航线精准播种。只需在手机上轻触启动键,无人机便将种子均匀撒入田间。飞行速度、播种间距和深度均由系统控制,确保效率与精准并存。“农业无人机不仅能播种施肥,还能防治病虫害、执行运输任务。”极飞科技超级农场运营负责人叶永辉介绍。

此外,极飞还推出了智能水肥管理系统,解决传统灌溉中“费时费力、不精准”的难题。农户只需在手机上设定计划,系统便能自动调节水量和施肥量,实现定时、定量灌溉。“科技让农业从‘面朝黄土’走向‘指尖种田’。”叶永辉说。
