Today's world has entered into the information society. People are eager to get information in different channels, and advertising is a very important way for us to do this. Depending on the content of the advertisements, the advertisements will have different effects.

On the one hand, advertisements have some positive effects on people's life. Firstly, the public service advertisements spread public knowledge and promote positive ideas. They can be very educational and draw people's attention to things around them. And the content of them is mostly about some small things around, but these small things can often touch the most real emotions in people's hearts. Secondly, advertisements help consumers to know about products. Through advertising activities, enterprises introduce various product information to consumers, and consumers choose suitable products according to their actual conditions.

On the other hand, advertisements also bring about negative effects on people's life. First, some advertisements are false or deceptive. They do not really reflect the function of the product, exaggerate the effect of the product and deceive consumers to buy it. Second, it is easy to create vicious competition. Manufacturers chase each other and spend more money on advertising, thus neglecting the research and development of products. Other effects such as leading to hedonism, money worship, the bad habits of comparison and so on.
