On April 1st, the intercity low-altitude logistics route between Guangzhou and Dongguan was officially launched. A drone carrying cross-border e-commerce goods took off smoothly from the Guangzhou Huangpu Free Trade Zone and landed at the Hexi Digital Industrial Park in the Dongguan Waterfront Economic Development Zone. This marks the successful test flight of China's first cross-border e-commerce intercity low-altitude logistics route. The flight took only 10 minutes, significantly reducing the delivery time compared to traditional land transportation, which takes approximately 50 minutes.
Low-altitude logistics boosting the "takeoff" of e-commerce
This initiative is a breakthrough in expanding flight routes after Guangzhou's Huangpu District successfully introduced regional low-altitude logistics routes, drone direct delivery to clients, and warehouse-to-store drone delivery services. Previously, the district had released typical cases and opportunities of application scenarios for the low-altitude economy in Huangpu, leveraging low-altitude application scenarios to drive the development of the low-altitude economy.
A low-altitude logistics drone at work
It's said that this test flight represents an innovative breakthrough in cross-border e-commerce bonded direct-purchase low-altitude logistics by overcoming urban boundaries, providing a "Guangzhou-Dongguan Solution" for the development of low-altitude logistics routes in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA).

国内首条！穗莞跨城低空物流航线启动，最快10分钟送达
4月1日，穗莞跨城低空物流航线启动，搭载了跨境电商货品的无人机从黄埔综保区顺利起飞，落地东莞水乡河西数字产业区，标志着全国首条跨境电商低空物流跨城航线试飞圆满完成。本次飞行仅用时10分钟，相比陆地货运（约50分钟）极大压缩了时间。
这是广州黄埔区继成功开通区域低空航线、无人机客户端直达配送、无人机“仓—店”直达配送等业务后，进一步突破航程空间的全新尝试。此前，该区发布《黄埔区低空经济应用场景典型案例》和《黄埔区低空经济应用场景机会清单》，以低空应用场景为驱动，引领低空经济“新风尚”。
据介绍，本次飞行创新性突破跨境电商保税直购低空物流的城市界限，为粤港澳大湾区低空物流航线建设积极提供穗莞方案。
