As of February 2025, Hong Kong has directly invested in nearly 35,000 enterprises in Guangzhou, with a cumulative investment exceeding 100 billion dollars, while Guangzhou has set up 1,515 enterprises in Hong Kong under 15.37 billion dollars in contracted investments.

According to reports, Guangzhou has been ranked as the top investment destination in China for foreign businesses by the American Chamber of Commerce in South China for eight consecutive years. Currently, more than 50,000 foreign-invested enterprises are established and developing in the city, Including 362 Fortune 500 companies with investment projects exceeding 2,000. In 2024 alone, 8,445 foreign-funded firms chose Guangzhou, one of every seven new foreign enterprises in China. 外资锚定广东！2025年穗港经贸交流活动举办

3月31日，2025年穗港经贸交流活动在香港会展中心成功举办。经过连续多年的接力打造，每年春天举办的穗港交流活动已成为两地经贸合作的高端平台，持续提升“投资广州，就是投资未来”的城市影响力。

作为同根同源的粤港澳大湾区两大核心城市，香港一直以来都是广州的重要经贸和投资合作伙伴。其中2024年穗港进出口总额达860.2亿元，同比增长32.6%；香港在广州新设投资企业2209家，增长3.5%。截至今年2月，香港在广州直接投资企业近3.5万家，累计投资近1000亿美元；广州在香港直接投资设立1515家企业（机构），协议投资额153.7亿美元。

据了解，广州连续8年被华南美国商会评为外商在中国首选投资目的地，现有超5万家外资企业扎根发展，其中在穗投资的世界500强企业362家，投资项目超2000个。2024年，全市新设外商投资企业8445家，全国每新设7家外资企业就有1家在广州。全市已形成6个产值超千亿元的先进制造业集群、7个增加值超千亿元的服务行业，拥有高新技术企业1.35万家、科技型中小企业2.1万家，独角兽企业24家。2024 年白云机场旅客和货邮吞吐量均居全国第二；广州港货物、集装箱吞吐量分居全球第五、第六；高铁班次、发送旅客量稳居全国第一。

与会的世界500强、跨国企业代表纷纷表示，近年来广州持续扩大高水平对外开放，先后出台“促进外资高质量发展20条”“优化外商投资环境12条”等政策措施，并建立重点外资企业“白名单”、跨国公司直通车、稳外资工作专班等常态化机制，一系列的工作举措，给外资企业带来了实实在在的投资便利和真金白银的奖励，接下来会继续加码投资广州。
