摘要:四年前,爱思瑟(中海校区)与美联国际高中整合过后,在保留原班精英师资的基础上,大力引进国内外优秀国际化教育人才,创立了成都华爱融合学院HPA——位于菁蓉湖畔成都华爱学校校园内,毗邻美轮美奂的成都世界科幻公园。
四年前,爱思瑟(中海校区)与美联国际高中整合过后,在保留原班精英师资的基础上,大力引进国内外优秀国际化教育人才,创立了成都华爱融合学院HPA——位于菁蓉湖畔成都华爱学校校园内,毗邻美轮美奂的成都世界科幻公园。
如今华爱融合学院构建起了从幼儿园,到小学、初中及高中全学段的国际化课程体系。为计划前往全球各国、各地区高校深造的学生筑牢了坚实的平台,也不断吸引着国内及国外众多家庭的目光。
3月13日,全美TOP10的私立寄宿高中(Niche A+评级,2024年藤校+TOP10录取率23%)美国康科德学院(Concord Academy)30余名师生到访华爱融合学院(HPA),开展全日体验。
这是康科德学院本次10天中国行中唯一的访校行程,也成了师生口中此次中国行的高光时刻。
跨越11200公里,首次来到成都,全美TOP10的私立寄宿高中与华爱融合学院(HPA)在世界科幻公园的菁蓉湖畔书写 "教育知己" 的故事。

活动策划人、华爱HPA升学指导组负责人Iris介绍,此次访学特别设计了一场 "双向视角" 的多元教育交流:
不仅让康科德师生沉浸参与华爱HPA特色的国际课程、完成中国传统文化的融合项目,更将地道的美高血液注入HPA,让我们的同学们不出国门便能切身感受海外顶尖院校的校园氛围。这种深度互动,让教育交流超越了简单的文化猎奇。
作为西南第一所与独立学校(The Independent School)联合办学的学校,HPA实施最纯正的北美蓝带高中教学体系,并积极开展国际教育的‘在地性’探索。
高中学生代表们分为4个小组,与康科德的同学们结成搭子,带领他们到各自的走班教室体验真实的HPA课堂。
科学课堂的跨国实验范式与文化课堂的创造性转化给康科德师生带来了丰富难忘的体验。

"We want HPA students to see the world, but we also want the world to see them." Iris, head of HPA’s college counseling team and the event’s organizer, shared that this visit was designed as a "dual-perspective" exchange, offering a multidimensional educational experience.
Beyond immersing Concord students in HPA’s distinctive international curriculum and a Chinese cultural integration project, the visit also infused HPA with the essence of an elite American high school, allowing its students to experience the academic atmosphere of a top-tier institution without leaving the country. This deep interaction moved beyond simple cultural curiosity, fostering meaningful educational dialogue.
As the first school in Southwest China to partner with The Independent School (TIS), HPA implements an authentic North American Blue Ribbon high school curriculum while actively exploring localized approaches to international education.HPA’s high school students were divided into four groups, each pairing with Concord students to guide them through real classroom experiences at HPA.The cross-border scientific experiments and creative cultural lessons left a lasting impression on Concord students and faculty.
荣誉生物课上,Vicky老师用同学们感兴趣的饮料设计了 "中国饮料含糖量检测" 实验引发跨文化思考。
学生使用DNS法测量还原糖浓度,对比 "无糖" 与 "低糖" 饮品的实际糖分差异,进而引发同学们对健康饮食的思考。
荣誉化学课的 “变色龙硫酸铜” 实验带来丰富的视觉体验,Annique老师指导学生通过调控过氧化氢与氨水用量,观察溶液从浅蓝到深绿的渐变过程。
同学们在实验记录中特别标注:“热效应影响反应速率的观察,与我们之前的‘火山喷发模拟’实验形成理论呼应。”
荣誉物理课则呈现技术融合的教学智慧。Aza老师利用跳高玩具与橡皮泥设计弹性势能实验,要求学生用电子设备记录并分析数据——
“当涉及到差异化主题时,技术和电子设备是一些最好的教学工具,它可以帮助学生,尤其是害羞的学生,轻松、乐意地参与小组活动。”

In the Biology Honors class, Ms.Vicky engaged students with an experiment titled "sugar Content and calorie levels in local Chinese beverages" designed around drinks popular among students.Using the DNS (dinitrosalicylic acid) method, students measured the reducing sugar concentration in "sugar-free" and "low-sugar" beverages, sparking discussions on the accuracy of labeling and the impact on healthy eating habits.
In the Chemistry Honors class, Ms.Annique guided students through the "Chameleon Copper Sulfate" experiment, students observed the various colour changes that can be produced using some simple chemicals. Using copper (II) sulphate, hydrogen peroxide and ammonia we were able to generate colourful solutions ranging from light blue to deep green. Students worked together to investigate the results of varying the amounts of each reagent and the role heat and bases have on this chemical reaction.
The Physics Honors class showcased innovative teaching methods that integrated technology. Ms.Aza used a combination of jumping toys and modeling clay to design an experiment on elastic potential energy. Students used electronic devices to record and analyze data, with Aza emphasizing, "Technology and electronic devices are some of the best teaching tools when it comes to the topic of differentiation ,it helps students, especially the shy ones, to participate in group activities easily and willingly !"
计算机科学课上,Charlie老师的 "网页开发" 入门课程,让中美学生混合小组利用解决问题的过程创建网页设计原型,在活动的最后,学生将思考作为一名网页设计师的意义,反思解决问题的过程并为其他用户创建资源,这为同学们未来的职业化道路打下了坚实基础。
表演艺术课由Matteo老师主导:“我决定讲一个有趣的话题,这也是我们在表演艺术课上一直在讲的:喜剧。我以 “是什么让人们发笑?” 这个问题作为课堂的开场白。学生们给出了各种各样的回答。我播放了一部经典美国喜剧电影的片段:《小鬼当家》(Home Alone),来自波士顿的大多数学生都很熟悉这部电影。”
从自己作为教师和作家的背景开始,Matteo老师和同学们积极讨论幽默的文化差异和不同的喜剧类型,“我在课堂上讨论了幽默的形式,包括笑话、双关语和有趣的情景。这是一次非常愉快的经历,很高兴看到我们的学生和他们的学生打成一片,不仅在我的课堂上,而且在他们参加的其他课堂上。”

In Computer Science, Mr.Charlie’s Web Development – Intro Lesson engaged mixed teams of Chinese and American students in creating web design prototypes. By the end of the lesson, students reflected on the role of a web designer, considering how problem-solving and user experience shape digital interfaces—laying the foundation for their future professional paths.
The Performing Arts class, led by Mr.Matteo, "I decided to do a fun topic, which we have been doing in my performing arts class: comedy. I opened the class with the question, "What makes people laugh?" Students gave me a variety of responses. I showed a film clip from a classic American comedy movie: Home Alone. Most of the students from Boston were familiar with it."
Drawing from his background as both a teacher and writer, Matteo guided students through an exploration of comedic styles, including jokes, puns, and funny situations. " it was very nice to see our students and their students mingle, not only in my class, but in other classes that they attended."

午后的语文文化课堂,两位对外汉语老师Ms.Stella和Ms.Stephanie设计了一系列有趣的互动,用英语音标学四川话,出色担任了中国文化传播大使身份。
精通中英日韩四国语言的Ms.Stephanie,了解到访校团中有韩国籍学生,用地道的韩语惊艳到同学们,他们打招呼迅速拉近距离。

Bringing together “Chinese roots” and a “global perspective” in the classroom.During the afternoon Chinese language and culture class, teachers Ms.Stella and Ms.Stephanie designed a series of engaging activities—one of the highlights being an introduction to Sichuanese dialect through English phonetics. Their creative approach turned them into natural cultural ambassadors, making Chinese language learning both fun and interactive.Ms. Stephanie, who is fluent in Chinese, English, Japanese, and Korean, quickly connected with the visiting students by greeting the Korean students in their native language—a surprise that instantly broke the ice and created a warm atmosphere.

HPA初中部 “汉服创新PBL项目” 由8年级学生共同参与,Jenny和Kyle作为学生代表介绍道:
“我们设计的这套汉服采用没有系带的对襟式长袍,是宋代时装的独特元素,蓝白色调象征天空的宁静,浅摩卡色则引入了温和的大地色调;
镂空的前襟结构在饰边的衬托下与宋代的艺术原则产生共鸣,让人联想到水墨在丝绸上的流动感。特别设计的花妖头饰增加了整体的神话色彩。”
康科德学院的学生们纷纷尝试起现场精心准备的各式精美汉服。当他们穿上汉服的那一刻,仿佛穿越时空,走进了唐宋的历史画卷之中。按捺不住笑容的各种拍照留念,感受着汉服带来的独特魅力。

Meanwhile, HPA’s middle school students showcased their Hanfu Innovation PBL Project, led by eighth-grade representatives Jenny and Kyle, who introduced their designs:"Our Hanfu design features a sash-free, cross-collar robe—a distinctive element of Song Dynasty fashion. The colors are thoughtfully selected: white provides the traditional base, pale blue and light blue suggest the calm of the sky, light blue trim complements the sash, and pale mocha introduces a gentle earthy tone. This soft, natural palette is frequently observed in the Song Dynasty style, reflecting their value of subtle beauty. The open-front structure, enhanced by trim resonates with the dynasty’s artistic principles, evoking the fluidity of ink on silk." Eager to experience traditional Chinese attire firsthand, Concord students enthusiastically tried on the beautifully crafted Hanfu prepared for them. As they donned the garments, it felt like stepping back in time, into a living painting from the Tang and Song dynasties. Laughter and excitement filled the room as they took countless photos, capturing the unique charm of Hanfu.

The cultural experience continued as Jocelyn, a student representative, introduced the Sichuan Street Food Experience session, where Concord and HPA students teamed up to make egg pancakes and bingfen. These small, shared moments of hands-on learning reflected the warmth of education—the kind that happens naturally through meaningful interactions. "Looking ahead, we plan to extend this experience through a community outreach project, inviting parents to participate in a food charity sale. The proceeds will be donated to the Reading Marathon initiative, supporting the creation of mobile book-sharing stations," shared Emily, head of HPA’s middle school division. This "cultural experience + social responsibility" model left a deep impression on everyone involved.

两国少年共同制作“春”字样的剪纸,配合着火遍全球的国产动画片《哪吒2》背景图,融合传统技艺与现代审美,这正是HPA"让传统文化成为世界语言" 的生动注脚。

初中同学和美高同学结成Language Buddies(语言搭子),克服了青春期的羞涩,和美高学生打成一片,对他们来说,这是非常难得的培养自信和眼界的机会。

To conclude the day, students from both schools collaborated on intricate papercut designs of the character “春” (Spring), set against a backdrop inspired by Ne Zha 2, the hit Chinese animated film. Blending traditional craftsmanship with modern aesthetics, this activity embodied HPA’s vision of “transforming traditional culture into a universal language.” Through this “living tradition” approach, hands-on activities became a bridge between heritage and innovation, allowing students to actively engage with culture in a way that felt both fresh and meaningful. Middle schoolers and high schoolers alike paired up as Language Buddies, overcoming any initial shyness to form genuine connections. For many, this was a rare and valuable opportunity to build confidence, expand their perspectives, and forge friendships beyond borders.

From a CBA-standard indoor basketball court to a state-of-the-art golf training facility equipped with professional equipment from internationally renowned brand Callaway, and the dynamic energy of flexible, student-centered classrooms, HPA’s immersive learning environment unfolded before our international guests like a vivid, multi-dimensional education canvas. The “Lakeside Campus + Integrated Learning” experience left a lasting impression on the visiting students and faculty.
"If you had to describe today in one word, what would it be?" "Bougie! " "Informative!" These were the enthusiastic responses from Concord Academy students Loanne and Calvin—captured forever by the lenses of HPA’s student-run TV station.This media club, entirely operated by students, has produced countless engaging interviews and reports. Today, they were in action once again:Sharkey and Mark led the interviews in fluent English, while Crystal and Tiffany navigated the campus with cameras in hand, capturing every candid smile. The “Snack Challenge”, a creative idea from the post-production team, became the highlight of the day—featuring priceless reactions from American students tasting spicy latiao (a popular Chinese snack) and their delighted expressions upon trying handmade bingfen (a refreshing Sichuan dessert). It was clear that this segment was destined to go viral among friends and family.
当两所秉持同样教育理想的学校相遇,我们看见的不仅是课程的对标、文化的碰撞,更是教育本质的共鸣——尊重每个生命的独特性,让根系深植土地,让枝叶触碰星辰。

When two schools with shared educational philosophies come together, it’s not just about aligning curricula or exploring cultural differences—it’s about a deeper connection to the essence of education: respecting each individual’s uniqueness, rooting deeply in tradition while reaching for the stars.
