Even the simplest words have interesting histories. Pen comes from the Latin word for “feather”. Until recently our pens were stiff feather taken from the wing of a goose. 即使最简单的词也有有趣的历史。“钢笔”来自拉丁语的“羽毛”。我们的笔原是取之于鹅翅上的硬羽翎，直到最近才不是这样。
