They represent the pinnacle of intelligent manufacturing and digitalization in global industry. Recently, the total number of these factories has been updated to 189 worldwide. Among the 17 newly designated lighthouse factories, 8 are located in China, with 2 in Guangdong. This brings the total number of lighthouse factories in China to 80, with Guangdong ranking second nationally with 10, distributed across Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Foshan, and Zhongshan. A "lighthouse factory" network is thus gradually taking shape in the region.
Haitian's factory in Gaoming relies on its self-developed technologies, such as "AI Bean-Face" and "AI Electronic Nose," to ensure the quality of raw materials and maintain the flavor of soy sauce. Meanwhile, the Valeo EAutomotive Shenzhen factory has become the first foreign-invested lighthouse factory in Shenzhen, which utilizes AI-driven solutions for high-quality production.
Foshan's Midea Group has established the Midea Building Technologies water machine factory in Chongqing, which stands out as the world's first fully AI-enabled lighthouse factory in the central air conditioning chiller industry. By leveraging technologies like machine learning, it achieves a production model with a minimum order quantity of just one unit, and optimizes the water machine production process through AI.
It is evident that the newly recognized lighthouse factories are all actively decoding the application of AI in industrial scenarios, which aligns with emerging trends. A report by McKinsey notes that among the 17 newly designated lighthouses, 77% of the top five use cases involve analytical AI, while 9% utilize generative AI.
The cross-regional and cross-industry dissemination of "lighthouse" experience is also supported by industrial internet platforms. In Guangdong alone, 9 national-level "double crossing" industrial internet platforms have been developed to facilitate the spread of lighthouse experiences. RootCloud has established methodologies for building lighthouse factories, while Midea Group's Meicloud Technology is enabling other companies to create their own lighthouse factories, making contributions to amplifying the "lighthouse effect."

海天味业高明工厂凭借自主研发的“AI豆脸”“AI电子鼻”技术，保障原材料品质，确保酱油风味。深圳迎来首家外企投资的“灯塔工厂”——法雷奥深圳工厂，通过人工智能驱动多项解决方案，实现高质量生产。
佛山企业美的集团在重庆的楼宇科技水机工厂，是全球中央空调冷水机组行业首家全流程AI赋能的“灯塔工厂” 。借助机器学习等技术，实现订单最小批次为1的生产模式，利用AI技术优化水机生产流程。
不难发现，本次获评的“灯塔工厂”都在积极破译AI应用落地于工业场景的密码，成为新趋势。麦肯锡报告称，在17家新晋灯塔中，排名前五的用例有77%应用了分析式AI，9%应用了生成式AI。
“灯塔”经验的跨地域跨行业传播，也有工业互联网平台的助力。以广东为例，目前已培育了9家国家级“双跨”工业互联网平台助力“灯塔”经验传播。树根互联沉淀了“灯塔工厂”建设方法论，美的集团旗下美云智数也对外赋能，助力其他企业打造“灯塔工厂”，放大“灯塔效应”。
