On January 18th, 2025, a whistle blew as train X8120, loaded with household appliances, LED lights, clothing, furniture, and daily necessities made in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA), departed from Guangzhou International Port Station. It is set to arrive in Europe in 15 days. With this journey, the total number of China Railway Express trips from the GBA has exceeded 4,000, signaling the robust vitality in the region's foreign trade and economic development.
Since the launch of the Belt and Road Initiative in 2013, the Chin Railway Express has rapidly emerged as a crucial international logistics channel. As the "world's factory," Guangdong has seen a surge in foreign trade demand. The China Railway Express, with its advantages of being green, efficient, and stable, has been effectively supporting the export of Guangdong-made products. The China Railway Guangzhou Group has actively responded to the initiative by establishing a system that includes efficient transportation and diverse channels, enhancing the quality and efficiency of train operations, while facilitating the export of domestically produced goods to Europe.
In 2024, Guangdong's foreign trade volume exceeds 9 trillion yuan, showcasing significant growth. As the integration of the GBA accelerates, the China Railway Guangzhou Group is leveraging its manufacturing advantages to conduct in-depth research and explore opportunities to expand capacity and enhance efficiency. The "Railway Express+" ecosystem has become a key innovation driver. A variety of customized trains for cross-border e-commerce and international parcels are springing up, with freight stations covering numerous geographical units across Eurasia, connecting over 50 Belt and Road partner countries and regions, which has streamlined foreign trade circulation channels.
During the Spring Festival travel season, the China Railway Guangzhou Group has opened a 24-hour green channel for the China Railway Express, collaborating with various parties to build an integrated cross-border logistics platform. A representative from the Guangshen Railway Company Logistics Center stated that, in response to the peak business season at the beginning of the year, they have partnered with customs to establish efficient import and export channels, so as to ensure rapid clearance for the trains. In the future, the China Railway Guangzhou Group will precisely align with enterprises' needs, increase the frequency of operations, add return routes, and launch more personalized routes, so as to contribute its power to the GBA's integration into the Belt and Road Initiative and the dual circulation development pattern.

2025年1月18日，随着一声汽笛鸣响满载家电、LED灯具、服装鞋靴、家具、日用百货等湾区制造的X8120次班列从广州国际港站驶出，15天后将抵达欧洲。至此，大湾区中欧班列累计开行已突破4000列，传递出大湾区外贸经济发展的强劲脉动。
自2013年共建“一带一路”倡议提出，中欧班列飞速发展，成为重要的国际物流通道。广东作为“世界工厂”，外贸需求攀升，中欧班列以绿色、高效、稳定的优势，有力支撑“广货广出”。广铁集团积极响应倡议，构建了包括高效运输、多元通道等在内的体系，提升班列运行品质与效率，助力国产新势力出口欧洲。
2024年，广东省外贸规模超9万亿元，增长强劲。随着粤港澳大湾区融合加速，广铁集团立足制造业优势，深入调研，探索扩能增效，“班列+”生态成为创新发展关键。跨境电商、国际邮包等多种“定制化”班列不断涌现，货运站点覆盖亚欧大陆诸多地理单元，串联起50多个共建“一带一路”国家及地区，畅通外贸流通渠道。
春运期间，广铁集团为中欧班列开辟24小时绿色通道，与多方搭建“一体化”跨境物流平台。广深铁路物流中心相关负责人表示，面对年初业务高峰，已携手海关搭建高效进出口通道，保障班列快速通关。未来，广铁集团将精准对接企业需求，加密开行频次，新增返程线路，推出更多个性化线路，为大湾区融入“一带一路”倡议和“双循环”格局贡献铁路力量。
