Hundreds of dragon boats from various districts of Guangzhou and neighboring cities arrived as scheduled, presenting a grand display of the gathering of dragon boats, a symbolic cultural spectacle of the Dragon Boat Festival in Guangzhou.

Around 9:00 AM, the banks of the Liede Creek were bustling with activity. Dragon boats from villages such as Xiancun, Shipai, and Tancun in the vicinity began to arrive. "The festive atmosphere of the dragon boat Festival in the Cantonese area is powerful. I didn't expect traditional culture to be so well preserved between the skyscrapers in the center of Guangzhou," said Ms. Lin, a visitor from Fujian, who came to Liede Creek today to experience the ambiance of the dragon boats.

The liveliness of the gathering of dragon boats reached its climax amidst the smoke and firecrackers of the dragon boat feast. Around 6:00 PM that day, Liede Village hosted a banquet for 500 guests, serving Cantonese dishes symbolizing auspicious meanings. Ms.Li, in charge of this year's dragon boat feast, was bustling around but had a proud smile on her face: "This 'Hongyun (Good Fortune) Braised Pork' symbolizes vitality, while the 'Steamed Turbot' dish signifies abundance year after year!"

猎德龙舟招景，百舸争流迎端午

5月31日，端午节首日，在广州千年水乡猎德村，猎德涌里锣鼓喧天，鞭炮齐鸣，来自广州各区及周边城市的上百条龙舟如约而至，作为广州端午文化的标志性景观，猎德龙舟招景在这里隆重举行。

当天上午9时许，猎德涌两岸已是人声鼎沸。冼村、石牌、潭村等周边村的龙舟陆续抵达。“广府端午的节日氛围非常浓厚，没想到在广州市中心的摩天大楼间，也把传统文化守护得这么好。”来自福建的游客林女士，今天特地来猎德涌感受龙舟氛围。

龙舟招景日的热闹，最终在龙船饭的烟火气中达到高潮。当天下午6时许，猎德村设宴500围，以粤菜寓意吉祥的菜式款待宾客。负责今年龙船饭的李大姐忙得脚不沾地，脸上却洋溢着自豪的笑容：“这道‘鸿运烧肉’寓意红皮赤壮，那道‘清蒸多宝鱼’象征年年有余！”
