To commemorate the 100th anniversary of Dr. Sun Yat-sen's passing in 2025 and the 160th anniversary of his birth in 2026, the administration center of Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall in Guangzhou has launched the "Century Style, Timeless Heritage: Sun Yat-sen SuitDesign Competition," now open for creative entries worldwide.

The competition offers cash prizes of up to 10,000 yuan and will select the top five designs from submissions received globally. Entries should be based on classic Sun Yat-sen Suit(Zhongshan suit) elementssuch as the standing collar and four-pocket layout, and include seasonal designs for spring and autumn (layered sets), summer (lightweight short-sleeve), and winter (premium-quality coats). Designers are encouraged to incorporate eco-friendly and tech-based fabrics, smart-interactive materials, and modular structures, balancing eastern aesthetics with global design perspectives. Each set must include flat sketches showing front, side, and back views.

Submissions should be sent as a compressed file named "Sun Yat-sen Suit Design Submission + Name + Contact Info" to the official email address: ycwbhdp@163.com. The deadline for entries is 24:00 (Beijing Time) on August 15th, 2025.

The suit, the fruits of clothing transformation under the in-person direction of Dr. Sun Yat-sen, marks a milestone in the modernization of Chinese clothing. As a symbol of the Chinese nation's awakening and cultural confidence, it has carried the Chinese spirit from the revolutionary era into the present day. Internationally recognized as one of the "ten most influential garments in the world," the suit continues to inspire fashion and identity. The Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall itself, a 20th-century architectural landmark in China, features a magnificent 48.63-meter-high dome and a 72.65-meter column-free interior, representing a harmonious fusion of Chinese and Western architectural styles.

中山装服饰设计大赛细则公布，万元大奖等你来！

2025年与2026年正值孙中山先生逝世100周年与诞辰160周年之际，广州市中山纪念堂管理中心特别发起“世纪风范·衣脉相承——国风中山装服饰设计大赛”，现面向全球征集中山装服饰创意设计作品。

本次大赛设立万元奖金向国内外征集创新设计作品，最终选拔出五强设计方案。作品需围绕中山装经典元素（立领、四口袋等），提交春秋（层次感套装）、夏（轻量化短袖）、冬（质感大衣）三季设计方案，鼓励运用环保科技面料、智能交互材质及模块化结构创新，兼顾东方美学与国际表达。每套设计需提供正面、侧面、背面三视角的平面款式图。
