Guangdong is home to over 19.25 million private business entities, accounting for 96.45% of all business entities in the province. In both number and proportion, Guangdong ranks first nationwide. From tech giants in Shenzhen to manufacturing plants in Dongguan, and from cross-border e-commerce in Guangzhou to hidden champions in Foshan, the private economy contributes over 50% of the province's GDP, more than 60% of tax revenue, over 70% of technological innovations, and over 80% of employment.

Guangdong has over 800,000 valid invention patents, ranking first in China for 25 consecutive years. Private enterprises contribute more than 70% of the province's technological innovations. Guangdong also leads the country in the number of high-value invention patents, with 367,700 in total. Strategic industrial clusters hold 561,200 valid invention patents, accounting for nearly 70% of the province's total.

The third question is: How bright is its future?

Newly established enterprises in the "four new economies" account for 37.92% of the total, while new enterprises in the "digital economy" surged by 25.41%.
