Singapore's United Overseas Bank (UOB) has raised its forecast for Vietnam's gross domestic product (GDP) growth in 2025 to 7.5 percent from the previous 6.9 percent, Vietnam News Agency reported Thursday.
The upgrade reflects Vietnam's economic resilience and dynamism despite tariff risks and uncertainties, according to the bank.
While tariff pressures remain, UOB expects Vietnam's exports to expand about 10 percent in 2025, compared with 14 percent in 2024.
The bank has maintained its GDP growth forecast for Vietnam at 7 percent in 2026.
