Based on literature research, questionnaires, and the Delphi method, this study developed a systematic evaluation index system for BIM software vendor selection. The system is structured around four dimensions: software cost, software performance, user service, and vendor attributes. It is further divided into 30 specific evaluation indicators, aiming to comprehensively and objectively capture the key considerations for companies when selecting a vendor. This index system enables companies to balance price and functionality while also making more informed decisions by taking into account service quality and vendor strength.

在实际应用中,建筑施工企业往往会面临使用国外BIM软件的情况。然而这类软件通常由国内代理商销售和服务,因此在评价时必须区分不同角色的作用。论文指出,软件性能与原始供应商密切相关,而软件成本则不仅包括原始供应商的定价,还需要考虑国内代理商的管理成本和利润;用户服务则主要由代理商提供,供应商属性更直接反映代理商的综合实力。因此,当企业使用国外BIM软件时,应将国内代理商视为主要评价对象。

In practice, construction companies often face the need to use foreign BIM software. However, this software is typically sold and serviced by domestic agents, so the evaluation must distinguish the roles of different stakeholders. The paper points out that software performance is closely related to the original supplier, while software costs include not only the original supplier's pricing but also the management costs and profits of the domestic agent. User services are primarily provided by the agent, and the supplier's attributes more directly reflect the agent's overall strength. Therefore, when companies use foreign BIM software, domestic agents should be the primary evaluation target.

研究进一步发现,影响BIM软件供应商选择的关键因素主要集中在企业的使用需求和软件性能上,而项目类型对评价结果的影响并不显著,因此在体系设计中未将其作为核心指标。这一结论提醒企业,在做出选型决策时应更多地关注软件的长期适用性与供应商的持续服务能力,而不是单纯依据项目特征进行判断。

The study further found that the key factors influencing BIM software vendor selection primarily focused on enterprise requirements and software performance, while project type had little impact on evaluation results, and therefore was not considered a core indicator in system design. This conclusion reminds companies to focus more on the long-term applicability of the software and the supplier's ongoing service capabilities when making selection decisions, rather than simply judging based on project characteristics.

Software costs encompass not only procurement and maintenance expenses, but also implicitly include agency operating and management costs. User service impacts the company's training, operations, and problem response efficiency during software use. And vendor attributes reflect the supplier's long-term stability, innovation capabilities, and industry reputation. These factors collectively constitute a multi-dimensional consideration in corporate decision-making.

需要注意的是,随着全球化背景下国外BIM软件进入中国市场,代理商在软件推广与服务中扮演着越来越重要的角色。这也意味着在供应商选择与评价中,国内代理商的作用往往比原始供应商更直接、更显性。因此,建筑施工企业在做出BIM软件供应商选择时,既要关注软件本身的技术优势,也要充分考虑代理商的服务能力与综合实力,以确保数字化转型的可持续性。
