A spectacular fashion show titled "56" was held at Tank 97inBejing's 798-751 Art District onSept.12,shining aspotlightontherichtapestryoftraditional costumes and cultures of China's 56 ethnic groups.

The show,heldas part of the 2025 China Fashion Week (Autumn), was presented by Yang Chunlin, a designer from the Miao ethnic group in Guizhou province and founder of the ethnic culture-inspired fashion brand Gu-A-Xin.

Children from all ethnic groups across the country displayed their distinctive and exquisite ensembles which werelovinglyhandmade by their mothers and grandmothers, and embodytheirprecious cultural heritage.

Yang Chunlin, also founder of the renowned"VillageT”fashionshowin Guizhou's Qiandongnan Miao and Dong autonomous prefecture, said, "What we wantisto showcasenot only our traditional attire, butalsoour roots, our identityand a new era in which we continue to move forward together."

"It took our team nearly six months toprepareeverything, from model selectionandtraditional attire collection, to training, rehearsals and the final show," said Yang Meng, chief operating officer of Gu-A-Xin.
