Indians have an attitude problem and we really need to work on it. This problem does not show up in any data but we surely lack a mindset to become a developed nation. We don't respect time, civic sense is an alien concept to us, following law & order is a big challenge and our 'chalta hai' attitude is keeping most of the things sub-standard. Our focus on show off over actual quality of life is a huge road-block. Unless we work on all these, we can't be a developed nation.

I just hate it when people keep spitting on roads openly. No matter where you go, people just keep spitting.

Absolutely correct. A true patriot criticises a nation out of love and wants to see it grow, not blind nationalism.

In India
NOT FOLLOWING RULES is a sign of Masculinity and smartness
FOLLOWING RULES is a sign of Weakness and cowardness ( unfortunately)

I am in Japan since 4 years now, people in Japan always talk about how India is great, and can accept that, I hope they don't experience this kind of India, We have to increase Civic Sense.
It will take time, I believe.

These days many Youtubers appreciate india and take advantage for more views and likes .. but anyone rarely talk about India's flaws..Huge respect brother

cleanliness is a huge issue in India. Honestly, I didn't even realize the magnitude of this problem until I started traveling abroad. Delhi airport literally starts smelling as soon as I land here. I want to see my country succeed. Not only in terms of GDP but also other imp aspect like individual development and cleanliness.

Two things that can solve all the problems mentioned
Stricter rules
Highly reformed education system which is more holistic and not just rote learning based

This problem of lack of civic sense is more of a common problem of the whole Indian Subcontinent. I'm form Nepal and here too I see the same problems, if not worse. No doubt why we South Asians are lagging far behind in terms of real development and prosperity. Great eye opening video sir! Please continue this series.

I live in europe . India main mujhe 5 min main apna Driving licence mila tha. Europe main it took me months. Inke tests itne difficult hote hain and they behave as though driving is a responsibility and not a privilege . I had heard horn only twice in 5 years . N that was because there was a sign of person coming from wrong side. Usna ho gaya 1000 euro ka fine, licence confiscated for 2 months aur 3000 euro ka advanced seminar. Yahan pe bus drivers bhi utarke help karte hain if there is any person with disability who wants to get in. Evry govt officer is kind of overworked but still they give 15 min appointment and attend to you well. Education system is so nice that ratta maarna nai hota. I studied bsc in biochemistry. In my final year i had one paper for nutritiön science. My teacher used to make fun of me.. tumse padai nai hogi. Because I couldnt cram. I recently cleared nutritionist certification from germany. I was told by my examiner that my points in the practical exam are insightful and they will add some of them to their upxed curriculum. Time is money.
I am dark skinned. I had to face much more racism in india during my marriage n alliance than amongst white pplsince i live in europe n i dont get so much sunlight i hv turned fair according to indian standards. Logon ka kya hi kar sakte hain..buss goro se validation chahiye.

I lost my father in 2006 to an accident and I recently lost my uncle to an accident. Both due to rAsh Driving by the other driver. I wish people in this country can learn to drive slow. If that happens then 90% of accidents will go away. No technology or govt can compensate for the lack of civic sense and regressive mindset of people. As you said correctly, we can never become a great civilisation if people and their mindsets don’t change. Thank you for making this video, hope some learn from this.

We need more videos like these but please also speak in English , so the whole world can put pressure on India about fixing itself
I'm an N.R.I and after just spending 2 months in India (for now) I feel ashamed about how my country just refuses to develop itself
Why is the label "N.R.I" so hyped?? Cause it's a compliment about people who are Indians but live outside India ..... seeking a better life.....
Why can't everyone change things and make India the "happening" place where everyone wants to move there instead ?? We need to seriously develop the country and change mentalities

I am India staying in US from 2 years and one thing I realized is a great country is not made by government but by people. Never heard a horn sound in USA more then twice in 4 years. Never saw people fighting in line or to keep luggage. Never saw any poster for MIT Coaching or Stanford coaching though 90% of top institutes are from US. Never saw people breaking any traffic rules never in 5 years till now. Never saw anyone littering in road. Sad reality of India is no one cares of discipline, cleanliness we only care for status and comparisons in life. I am very happy staying out of that country and not in a rat race where everyday I feel I have to run a race .

Bro you were on the point…when sam told that it would take decades for india to build something like open ai … many people got offended. But he was right…Indian education system is and always been tailored towards service sector and it will not change whatsoever .In India research work is not encouraged neither in schools nor in colleges.

This is the first time I have watched a video of India explaining some hard facts,. This video should be translated in all Indian languages and broadly broadcast in cinemas and othr public places . So Indians can actually see and hear the benefits India has to offer its own citizens.

This is exactly what I was waiting for someone to talk about. We Indians keep saying that we are best and we have developed a lot, but civic sense and accountability is something we are completely lacking. Also, the growth has happened but it is still disproportionate.
@Mallikaaa_04
I absolutely agree with you.. we Indians never hold ourselves accountable for the problems in our country.. instead we play blame game.. I have been working on being a good citizen and I hope every Indian works on that too

there was one instance during my studies in Russia, where I was in a bank standing in line.(and Russian are known for their discipline). But then came in ,came a 12th board topper batchmate. He just waved in to his friend and got into the third spot in line. The line was just 10 people long.

Massive respect to you man, very few honest youtubers out there. Agree with each and every issue you highlighted. Don't know why we are so hungry for external validation. Also, we Indians cannot have a civilised conversation on social media posts with foreigners, most of us take offense when someone criticizes India, instead of having a meaningful conversation.
