Recently, the winners for the 2025 Global Road Achievement Awards (GRAA) of the International Road Federation (IRF Global) were announced. The "Design Innovation Practice of the Huangmaohai Cross-Sea Passage" in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area win in the design category, marking the first bridge project in Guangdong to receive this award and the only Chinese project in this edition to win in the design category.

As a western extension of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, the Huangmaohai Cross-Sea Passage connects Zhuhai and Taishan, Jiangmen in Guangdong. The main line spans approximately 31 kilometers, of which about 14 kilometers is over open sea. Its main project, the Gaolan Port Bridge, is a twin-tower cable-stayed bridge with a main span of 700 meters, while the Huangmaohai Bridge is the world's largest three-tower cable-stayed highway bridge ever built.

黄茅海跨海通道获“全球道路成就奖”

近日，2025年全球道路联合会（IRF Global）全球道路成就奖（GRAA）名单出炉，粤港澳大湾区的“黄茅海跨海通道设计创新实践”摘得该奖项设计类大奖，成为广东首个获此殊荣的桥梁工程，也是本届中国唯一一个获设计类奖项的项目。

作为港珠澳大桥的西延线，黄茅海跨海通道连接广东珠海与江门台山，主线全长约31公里，跨海段长约14公里，其控制性工程高栏港大桥为主跨700米的双塔斜拉桥，黄茅海大桥则为世界上已建成最大跨径的三塔公路斜拉桥。
