The CAEXPO, as an important platform for China-ASEAN cooperation, has become the "east wind" that propels enterprises to pursue dreams in the international market. Within this powerful "east wind," China Customs Clearance Network(CCCN)/e-to-China.com.cn (ETCN) is dedicated to providing enterprises with compliance-centered one-stop cross-border trade services. In recent years, through CAExpo, ETCN has achieved full results in the fertile ground of China-ASEAN cooperation, injecting vitality into trade flows.

At the 21st CAEXPO in 2024, ETCN successfully hosted the "RCEP Agricultural and Food Products Trade and Industry Cooperation Exchange Forum". It attracted leading enterprise representatives from China and ASEAN’s agricultural and food industries, high-level government officials, and industry experts. Representatives from authoritative institutions including the General Administration of Customs of China, the Ministry of Commerce, and the Cambodian government provided in-depth interpretations on key topics such as: Technical trade measures under the RCEP framework; Development status and future trends of cross-border e-commerce for food; Tariff policies for agricultural products. They transformed complex trade policies into easily understandable "guidelines" for enterprises, clearly interpreting key information such as customs clearance procedures and tariff preferences for agricultural and food products, enabling enterprises to navigate overseas expansion without "proceeding in darkness."

The meeting yielded substantial results, with multiple cooperative outcomes boosting China-ASEAN trade cooperation: Guangxi Customs Brokers Association signed memorandums of cooperation with the Cambodia Tapioca Association, Bird’s Nest Association, and Cashew Association; Cambodian specialty agricultural by-products entered China’s retail network through METRO Group via CCCN’s trade facilitation services; Guangxi Rural Investment Group collaborated with ETCN to establish a dual-channel mechanism for "technology Export + product import," promoting Chinese agricultural technology and equipment in Cambodia while helping premium Cambodian agricultural products access the Chinese market. CCCN joined hands with all parties to build a service network, facilitating more convenient and efficient customs clearance for cross-border goods, making trade smoother, and saving enterprises time and economic costs.

During the meeting, ETCN organized a Cambodian delegation to conduct field inspections of Guangxi’s agricultural projects. From technical exchanges in the fields to process discussions in processing workshops, cooperative intentions warmed during on-site visits. In November 2024, the ETCN delegation made a reciprocal visit to Cambodia, engaging in dialogues with industry associations and leading enterprises including the Cambodia Tapioca Association, Cashew Association, and Federation of Khmer Chinese in Cambodia. Broad consensus was reached in multiple fields such as: Agricultural product trade; Agricultural investment; Technical cooperation. Specific proposals were put forward on key issues such as: Establishing direct sea shipping routes from Cambodia to China; Building a credit assessment platform for enterprises of both countries. Aimed at enhancing the market competitiveness and trade security of agricultural products.
