Since late May, State Grid Taizhou Power Supply Company has innovatively deployed drone nest technology around key venues citywide hosting the Gaokao. Employing a "smart monitoring + real-time response" model, the company has established a closed-loop management mechanism encompassing "inspection-assessment-disposition," creating a protective "aerial network" for the candidates' power supply security.
The drone nest serves as a highly integrated "smart base station," combining landing and take-off, recharging, and data transmission capabilities. Equipped with intelligent charging modules and an environmental control system, it enables the drones to achieve a rapid 30-minute recharging cycle and maintain readiness for operation around the clock. Compared to the inefficient traditional approach of manual, ground-level patrolling, which typically requires 2-3 hours to inspect difficult-to-access sections, the drone nests deployed by State Grid Taizhou Power Supply Company near exam venues cover critical routes through pre-programmed flight paths in only 30 minutes per mission – boosting efficiency nearly 300%.
It is reported that throughout the exam period, State Grid Taizhou Power Supply Company will also scientifically schedule grid operation modes, deploy mobile emergency generator vehicles, and assign dedicated power protection personnel to adopt methods such as "on-site guarding" and "24/7 monitoring" to observe the operational status of power supply equipment in real-time. This ensures the timely and efficient handling of any contingencies, guarantees the secure and stable operation of the power grid, and provides reliable electricity to light the path for thousands of students' futures.
