春天到了，万物复苏，珍姑妈农场里的母鸡下了五颜六色的鸡蛋，这让塔克斯和英迪瞪大了好奇的双眼。原来鸡蛋也有这么多颜色，不出去看看还真不知道。自然界是有趣的课堂，有许多奇妙的事物等着我们去发现。好奇心是探索世界的一把钥匙，生活中总是充满着惊喜，只要细细观察，用心体会，相信你也能收获意想不到的快乐！Tex and Indi were visiting Aunt Jen’s farm.
“Who wants green eggs for breakfast?” she asked.
“There’s no such thing as a green egg!” said Tex.
“Oh yeah?” said Aunt Jen. “Follow me!”
“Good morning, ladies,” said Aunt Jen.
“Hey,” giggled Indi. “This one’s pecking my basket!”
“That’s Millie,” said Aunt Jen. “I think she wants us to see how many eggs she laid.”
They peeked into Millie’s nest box, and . . .
“Wonderful,” said Aunt Jen. “Two eggs!”
“Two GREEN eggs!” shouted Tex.
“And look,” Indi pointed. “There’s a BLUE egg in that nest!”
“That one’s the lovely Alexandra’s,” said Aunt Jen. “And I named this fluffy friend over here Miss Pinky. Can you see what color her eggs are?”
“PINK!” Tex and Indi said excitedly.
“Millie, Alexandra, and Pinky are called Easter Egger chickens,” said Aunt Jen. “Their egg yolk insides are yellow, but their eggshell outsides look like they’ve been dipped in beautiful dyes.”
“Cool!” said Tex. “They’re perfect for Easter.”
“You’re right,” Aunt Jen chuckled. “And they’re also perfect for making a super scrumptious breakfast. Let’s go eat!”
塔克斯和英迪正在参观珍姑妈的农场。
“早餐谁想吃绿壳鸡蛋？”她问。
“没有绿鸡蛋这种东西！”塔克斯说。
“哦，是吗？”珍姑妈说，“跟我来！”
“早上好，女士们！”珍姑妈说。
“嘿，”英迪笑着说，“这家伙在啄我的篮子！”
“那是米莉，”珍姑妈介绍，“我估计，它想让我们看看它下了多少颗蛋。”
他们朝米莉的巢箱里一看，发现……
“太棒了，”珍姑妈说道，“有两颗蛋！”
“两个绿鸡蛋！”塔克斯喊道。
“瞧，”英迪指着说，“那个窝里有个蓝色的蛋！”
“那是小可爱亚历山德拉下的蛋，”珍姑妈说，“我给这边这位毛茸茸的朋友起名叫萍姬小姐。你们看它的鸡蛋是什么颜色？”
“粉红色！”塔克斯和英迪兴奋地说。
“米莉、亚历山德拉和萍姬被称为复活节彩蛋鸡，”珍姑妈说，“它们下的蛋蛋黄是黄色的，但蛋壳看起来像是被蘸了漂亮的染料。”
“好酷！”塔克斯说，“它们太适合复活节了。”
“你说得对，”珍姑妈笑道，“它们也非常适合做一顿超级美味的早餐。我们去吃吧！”
