Boao Forum for Asia (BFA) Riyadh Conference, co-hosted with SABIC, is scheduled to be held from November 26 to 27 with the theme as “Transition Towards Regional Economic Diversification & Sustainable Development”. More than 300 delegates from the political, business, and academic sectors in over 10 countries and international organizations will attend the conference, including H.E. Ban Ki-moon, Chairman of BFA Board, H.E. Leung Chun Ying, Vice Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, H.E. Zhang Jun, Secretary General of Boao Forum for Asia, H.E. Don Pramudwinai, BFA Board Member and Former Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, H.E. Jenny Shipley, BFA Council Advisor and Former Prime Minister of New Zealand, Datuk Prof. Dr. Mohd Faiz Abdullah, Chairman of Institute of Strategic & International Studies (ISIS) Malaysia, Mr. Francesco La Camera, Director General of IRENA, and Mr. Zhan Xiaoning, Chairman of the World Investment Conference Executive Board. H.R.H Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Minister of Energy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, will attend the Opening of the conference.
With the continuous advancement of productivity and the in-depth development of economic globalization, the world economy has entered a dynamic process of major transformation and is currently at another important juncture.
