The 2025 Chinese Classical Poetry Forum opened in Zhengzhou on October 29th, 2025, bringing together over a hundred scholars, cultural luminaries, and artists from across the nation. With the slogan "Promoting Chinese Classical Poetry and Advancing Cultural Prosperity", the forum featured discussions on the heritage and innovation in poetry, where participants worked to identify new pathways for traditional Chinese poetry's creative development and contemporary value.

10月29日，2025中华经典诗词论坛在郑州开幕。来自各地的百余位专家学者、文化名人以及文艺工作者齐聚一堂，以“传承中华经典诗词，推动文化繁荣兴盛”为主题，共话诗词传承与创新，共谋中华经典诗词文化创造性转化、创新性发展的新路径。

Co-hosted by the National Humanity History magazine of the People's Daily, the Chinese Poetry Society, the Henan Federation of Literary and Art Circles, and the Publicity Department of the CPC Zhengzhou Municipal Committee, the Chinese Classical Poetry Forum has been held annually since its inaugural session in Gongyi, Zhengzhou in 2023. It has since grown into a key platform dedicated to preserving and revitalizing classical poetry, as well as a bridge connecting literature, tourism, and cultural creativity. Its influence within the sector and across society continues to grow.

作为人民日报《国家人文历史》杂志社、中华诗词学会、河南省文学艺术界联合会、中共郑州市委宣传部联合主办的常设性论坛，中华经典诗词论坛自2023年在郑州巩义举办首届以来，已逐步发展成为推动经典诗词传承发展的重要平台，联结文艺、文旅、文创等相关领域的重要纽带，行业引导力和社会影响力持续提升。

Zhengzhou shares a profound connection with poetry. The dialogue between classical verse and the city, seen in sources spanning from the Zheng Feng ballads in the Book of Songsto the works of master poets of the Tang Dynasty, and from historic sites to new creative opportunities, demonstrates both a millennium of cultural roots and a forward-looking vision. In recent years, Zhengzhou has been actively building its identity as a City of Poetry. Initiatives such as compiling the book seriesSelected Ancient Poems of ZhengzhouandAppreciating Zhengzhou's Classical Poetryhave helped systematically document the city's poetry resources. In addition, the city has launched modern outreach projects, including the video series "Traveling Zhengzhou Through Poetry" and an AI-powered guide titled "An Ancient Poetry Map of Zhengzhou".

郑州与诗词渊源深厚。从《诗经》的“郑风”篇章到唐诗的名家巨匠，从城市的诗词遗迹到产业的提质新机，经典诗词与郑州的相遇既是一场跨越千年的文脉对话，也是面向未来的文化宣言。近年来，郑州全力打造“诗词郑州”文化名片，通过编撰《郑州古代诗选》《郑州古代诗词赏析》等书对城市诗词文化资源进行系统梳理，推出“跟着诗词游郑州”系列视频、“郑州古诗词地图”AI导览小程序等，积极探索诗词文化的现代传播与创新表达。
